- uzair21, on 06/27/2008, -11/+3I really like the nike ads, JUST DO IT
- warrior007, on 06/27/2008, -6/+1yes i too like that Nike add
- virtualonliner, on 06/28/2008, -2/+0I was half thinking that it was true. With the Indian kid, dirty wall and wall. I know that happens lol
- arjie, on 06/28/2008, -1/+2That was Sharad Haksar, I think. It was quite a famous shot. It was _not_ an advertisement, it's there to highlight how the same country where people can pay 2500 rupees for shoes has people living on less than half that per month. Nike actually got its lawyers to send a letter to him over that.
He got in trouble with Coca Cola for another shot. Here's the story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4690703.stm
- anchalsingh, on 06/27/2008, -9/+2nice info..
- LanceVance, on 06/27/2008, -7/+2Yup, it's really a good list. Firms are paying thousands of bucks to advertising agencies to design "different" ads and to attract as much costumers as possible. An the best ads are showed here.
- Alegoo92, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1Well some sucked, but others were really good.
I really liked the fish/Glassex one.
- Alegoo92, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1Well some sucked, but others were really good.
- mpind176, on 06/27/2008, -7/+2"Stop second hand smoking... Just do it!" First hand...lolz...
- skewl, on 06/27/2008, -2/+7With so many boring and unoriginal ads that exist, its good to see that there is still creativity out there..
- mesarah, on 06/27/2008, -6/+1wow...amazing collection of ads in the list. I really like the comedy central ad
- dshPls, on 06/27/2008, -11/+6Overrated list.
- robk30, on 06/27/2008, -7/+2not that great of a list - but the kid smoking was a powerful image.
- mastika, on 06/27/2008, -1/+8emm, all posts I see in this blog are stolen from other popular web-dev blogs. Nothing unique. And 40+ diggs. That's sad.
- mentallyinhell, on 06/27/2008, -4/+3The kid with the manequins just kinda killed my day.
- airstrike, on 06/27/2008, -1/+63what a dumb title for the article. '42 articles i've ever seen'? all 42? the best 42? i don't get it..
- ganus, on 06/27/2008, -0/+18I don't think English is the author's first language.
- SuperWinner, on 06/28/2008, -2/+11engrish.com
- Samas11, on 06/28/2008, -2/+442: think about it ;)
- Goblin, on 06/28/2008, -2/+8Woah, that just blew my mind. The advertising department of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation would be proud (and also the first against the wall when the revolution comes)
- ptknight, on 06/28/2008, -2/+3Brilliant. It is *the* answer :-)
- Fenchurch72, on 06/28/2008, -1/+1well played.
- kyle212, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1Suppose it aint gonna be "42 Extremely Creative Advertisments I have Never seen!"
- Dylson, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1Welcome to America.
- bradleyland, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1Title sense makes ever none!
- johnnywatkins, on 06/27/2008, -5/+5Aside from the title being grammar "unfriendly" the actual ads in the article are solid.
- GSto, on 06/28/2008, -3/+3Really creative, although a few of them are kinda creepy (headless chicken, baby bush) but they all are really funny and attention grabbing.
- chris480, on 06/28/2008, -7/+1Colbert Bump!
- mquil, on 06/28/2008, -7/+1mindblowing add ideas! nice sharing
- stupidStan, on 06/28/2008, -1/+1what are they adding?
- Alegoo92, on 06/28/2008, -1/+17Nice title.
- gonegoogling, on 06/28/2008, -2/+3hienz hot ketchup ad looks like a good doobie
- mddawso, on 06/28/2008, -3/+24Adblock wouldn't allow me to view the page... wtf?
- Goblin, on 06/28/2008, -2/+2Clever :)
- mitch37, on 06/28/2008, -2/+2i lol'd
- smoothmann, on 06/28/2008, -3/+2I see what you did there
- GhostWithToast, on 06/28/2008, -2/+13I believe there's an adverb missing somewhere in that title sir.
- chewy5000, on 06/28/2008, -2/+3or maybe an adjective?
- thisoneisunique, on 06/28/2008, -1/+4more like the superlative of an adjective missing and one adverb too much
- anchorman, on 06/28/2008, -2/+3No, it's missing a decimal point.
- SmooveO, on 06/28/2008, -2/+3very creative! i just have to question the the lime pissing in to the pepsi.. doesn't really make me want to drink it!
- GhostWithToast, on 06/28/2008, -1/+7I'd like to comment on the grammar but whatever you did has destroyed my ability to reason.
- shondell, on 06/28/2008, -4/+2List wasn't that great...but does anyone have a high res picture of that Giselle Budnchen ad?
- Joshuarr, on 06/28/2008, -1/+4Google is your friend.
http://www.hipgirlie.com/2007/09/21/gisele-bundche ...
- Joshuarr, on 06/28/2008, -1/+4Google is your friend.
- Smashure, on 06/28/2008, -5/+0The one with the newspaper wall hugging that woman looks like it's straight from a horror movie. I don't know about you guys, but it scares me to see that!
I'll never go near a wall with text on it.- Fenchurch72, on 06/28/2008, -0/+1I thought it was a letter?
- davidhallstrom, on 06/28/2008, -8/+1Some of those were very good, thanks you.
- rgov, on 06/28/2008, -1/+12I like the "I have ever seen!" without any qualifier. The best 42? The worst? Or are you just exclaiming that you have seen them?
- darkane, on 06/28/2008, -1/+10Really? Flower-shaped steam? A lady holding on to the engine of a plane? A couple with five children? George Bush as a baby? A mermaid with a pair of jeans? Pepsi can hair rollers? "Bites" taken out of a burger so it's shaped like a moon? Animal dying from human foot odor?
If this is your idea of 'extremely creative' advertising, it must be your first time experiencing advertisements. - protoopus, on 06/28/2008, -4/+1i treat advertisements like i treat *****: i'm only aware enough of them to avoid them. so i always appreciate it when the poster puts "ad" or "advertisement" in the headline. thanks.
- solid12345, on 06/28/2008, -2/+2As someone who works in marketing, you can delude yourself all you want but we get to you in the end, you can't avoid us, slave.
- protoopus, on 06/28/2008, -1/+1bill hicks had some advice for you.
- solid12345, on 06/28/2008, -1/+1Bill Hicks was a drug addict loser who is six feet under, being addicted to material goods is no better or worse than being addicted to opiates.

- 7travis, on 06/28/2008, -1/+38Mirror:
http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/A9BA4AFE-2422-4B55-9 ... - Dylson, on 06/28/2008, -5/+3A mirror is an object with a surface that has good specular reflection; that is, it is smooth enough to form an image. The most familiar type of mirror is the plane mirror, which has a flat surface. Curved mirrors are also used, to produce magnified or diminished images or focus light or simply distort the reflected image.
Mirrors are most commonly used for personal grooming (in which case the old-fashioned term "looking-glass" can be used), decoration, and architecture. Mirrors are also used in scientific apparatus such as telescopes and lasers, cameras, and industrial machinery. Most mirrors are designed for visible light; however, mirrors designed for other types of waves or other wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation are also used, especially in optical instruments.- cpk121, on 06/28/2008, -1/+1Lame, not funny, hackneyed. - icehazard, on 06/28/2008, -7/+2Brainiac, if his internet was "off", then how would he post that comment?
- mohsenxp, on 06/28/2008, -0/+10Bigger Brainiac, it appears the human mind suffers from sarcasmophobia. This symptom seems to progress and advance exponentially the higher one thinks one's IQ level is. It seems as though your condition is critical and all forms of sarcasm are forever lost in your quest to be the bigger brainiac. May god have mercy on your soul.
- SuperIntendo, on 06/28/2008, -0/+6we call it "The Digg Effect"
