My particular areas of interest were penjing where you use rock, moss, water and tiny trees to create the illusion of a large mountain landscape, and mame, extra small bonsai that fit in the palm of your hand. There's something about creating perfectly scaled miniatures that evoke the larger world that gets me.
When I turned to the Geek Side I learned to appreciate great icon design. Why has it taken me so long to draw a connection between the two?
