Gigapixel ariel photographs of Boston, zoom in like never before

xrez.com — A 95,000 by 40,000 pixel panoramic image of Boston was made with 612 overlapping gigapixel photographs taken from the Prudential Tower ’s Skywalk. In some places you can zoom in enough to read the print off a persons shoes, look around the city for some really interesting images.

Thanks to Digg, we are having a banner day, and am going to load some new ram to the server to deal w/ it, since performance is hurting. It will be down for a short spell, so hold tight. Also be sure to look at the rest of the images as well (I put a link to the main page on the logo, or go to "back to gallery" link for more). I am also updating the site w/ 8 new gigapixel images early next week, enjoy..
