Hmmm...whether you like IE or not, how can you call yourself a CSS wizard if you can't build a site accepting of IE?- Bronz, on 09/08/2008, -0/+1Did you not read the rest of it?
- Iluvator, on 09/08/2008, -0/+2As it says in the site:
"The only reason for this is because it uses transparent png images and I haven’t used a hack or workaround for it. I could, and almost did, but then I rememebred this is my site, and people with IE6 need to get their act together if they want to see it properly. If you are using IE6, please upgrade, preferably to Firefox (you won’t look back), or if that isn’t viable, take a peek at my main website."
I respect that. As you point out, professional web development has to allow for IE6, but for a 'for fun' site, there's no reason to go out of your way to please silly IE6-ers.
And, of course, 95% of the people interested in that content are probably using Firefox , Chrome, or Safari anyways.
