Most clever business card design I've seen to date.
flickr.com — This is what you get when you have a great idea and execute it well. Awesome piece of design.

- pitfallharry, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11Neat, except I can't see that fitting too nicely in your wallet.
- Piontek, on 10/12/2007, -29/+1then you gotta have a ***** tiny wallet. gay.
that design makes me proud to be danish! ...or something - unknamed, on 10/12/2007, -2/+145Who cares about putting it in a wallet... this just got his name and phone number viewed by thousands of diggers. Talk about viral marketing.
Oh wait... diggers... personal trainer... nevermind. - ikak, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4You're right unknamed.. I don't need a personal trainer 'cause I'm already jacked to the max! BETCHES!
- gaiden2k5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@unknamed
interesting thought, however, the contact number is wasn't stretched enough - no one can really read that unless you download it and zoom in, but that's more work then simply stretching a bit further... shame...
- Piontek, on 10/12/2007, -29/+1then you gotta have a ***** tiny wallet. gay.
- Sal4, on 10/12/2007, -4/+62Not very practical, but still neat.
- mendigg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0The author of clause has mentioned and has opened excellent and a vital topic presently. Clause is written interestingly and the main thing actual. The same theme on Russian sites: http://pivo.in.ua http://www.alcogol.kiev.ua
- shwizle, on 10/12/2007, -33/+1Wow! How is it not practical!? It could fit in a wallet.... ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
- darksheer, on 10/12/2007, -7/+94How are you going to read the number and dial the number at the same time?
- Deranged, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16darksheer:
Short term memory of probably just 4 digits? (assuming that the first three are used for the majority of phone numbers in the area as it in lots of places) - deviouskoopa, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Don't most, if not ALL, standard business cards fit in a wallet anyways? Unless your wallet is in fact more of a film canister or something of that sort...
- amphoterous, on 10/12/2007, -7/+21Hooray short term mem... what?
- REBOP, on 10/12/2007, -6/+46My checkbook is made out of the same material.
- jmaiurano, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3@darksheer:
Read the number off the picture instead. - ccanni1028, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1"Don't most, if not ALL, standard business cards fit in a wallet anyways?"
This isn't a standard business card. - 0siris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7here in the populated area of America (and i'm sure in plenty of other places) we don't have the same first 3 numbers the same in the same area. Hell, some areas have multiple area codes, we have so many numbers.
- jd33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3stretch card....say number to yourself.....pick up phone.....dial number. C'mon you can't be that stupid.
- Cymrubeats, on 10/12/2007, -9/+22You're gonna have problems 'expanding' it and calling at the same time.
- Heaiser, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Would it really be that hard to expand it enough with 1 hand? You could easily wrap it around your hand and be able to read the number while dialing.
- sjbdallas, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5I have something else to wrap it around that will expand.
- washcapsfan37, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Do people really have that much problems remembering 10 digits?
"Well, scientists have discovered that even monkeys can memorize ten numbers. Are you stupider than a monkey?" - Cymrubeats, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Yes, i am stupider than a monkey. I can recall numbers i'll use often, but it's highly unlikely i'd call a guy, with a rubber business card, more than once. Who do you think i am? Ted Haggard?
- Zorlak, on 10/12/2007, -2/+95Not bad! I personally prefer this one though; http://ohgizmo.com/2006/09/18/lock-pickin-business-card/
- auger282, on 10/12/2007, -7/+8Lock picking card for the win
- cam2009, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I always kind of liked Tobias'. He's the first analysisist/therapist you know.
http://www.thetalentshow.org/images/analrapist.jpg - cam2009, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I don't know where that extra "is" came from. Figured I'd mention it before someone else does.
- Jacksthebest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nice one!
- deviouskoopa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21"JenovaRage says:
Does that mean you need a spotter to dial the number?"
Hahaha I lol'ed :)
EDIT: I guess this answers darksheer's question too...- dmitriyvoz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0The author has mentioned very much a vital topic today. It seems to me that the problematics of this clause enables to reflect and draw conclusions. You can as to look sites in Russian which mention this theme: http://www.rolid.org http://www.se-ua.com
- cmer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+29Doesn't beat Woz's card imo: http://www.tuaw.com/2006/10/03/the-wozs-business-card/
- hack314, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I was curious with all the blurring, so I just looked up the WOZ's home phone number on whitepages.com.. its actually listed. Kinda cool. Nice to see he's not some privacy freak.
- cmer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Cool! His phone number is a nice one, too, which doesn't surprise me. He's always been after great phone numbers (as mentioned in his inspiring book, iWoz)
- Krechet, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0I wonder if I coule build a potato gun out of it...
- bwizard, on 10/12/2007, -13/+1I would file this under "***** the Earth".
- ITsaNetwork, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3Its also a good way to cheat on tests. Write all the answers on a stretched out rubber band... It looks like scribbles when it's not stretched.
- inurb, on 10/12/2007, -14/+2I'm a personal trainer and I think I am going to steal that design for my own card!
- RationalAntaxia, on 10/12/2007, -15/+4Being a Personal Trainer isn't a real job.
- nsummy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Creative? Yes. Usable? No. Unfortunately in business usability ranks way ahead of creativity. I would probably end up throwing that "card" into a drawer somewhere in my home rather than put it in my wallet where I would actually use it.
- avinds, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0maybe then you need a personal trainer ...o_O
- DeskFlyer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2That would so get stuck in my wallet.
- 8177, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1pocket?
- VannyG, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0Its a great concept, but as stated above id probably put it down and not pick it up again plus it looks like gum to me
- pbaehr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13A designer's dream project and a printer's worst nightmare.
- Nougat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6But wait! Because I need a personal trainer, I am not strong enough to stretch this card so that it's readable! It's self-defeating!
- rasensio, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2The card have to read by one and the other guy have to dial. Cool Idea, useless, but cool
- livefire, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Old. This was in design mags months ago.

- wjglenn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That card for the second hand shop is the coolest idea. Woz's metal card is the one I'd most like to have for myself.
- 8177, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1can you check dna from hair? i know you can do it from the root of the hair but that looks like its been cut.

- zamoose, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"Most clever"? Good gravy, man!
Grammar Nazi moment - it's "cleverest". Way to break the stereotype of digg submitters as barely-literate script kiddies.
Sheesh.- Margh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1If you want to get grammar Nazi on somebody it should be yourself. You should know damn well that all punctuation should be placed before the closing quotation mark!
"Most clever"?
For shame! - sid0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5You're both wrong.
"Most clever" is quite alright, and so is "cleverest." This is the case with quite a few two-syllable words.
Since the question mark is not part of the phrase within the quotes, it should be placed outside them. The period/full stop and comma should always be placed inside though. See: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/grammar/g_quote.html
While writing, the best thing to do with a full stop or comma is to place it directly under the quotation mark. Sadly, this usually can't be done on a computer.
On topic: What's so clever about this? - razrielle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3NO GRAMMAR FOR YOU!!
- Margh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1If you want to get grammar Nazi on somebody it should be yourself. You should know damn well that all punctuation should be placed before the closing quotation mark!
- philz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I liked the "Minister of Algorithms" at Intel.
http://www.ericjacobsen.org/icard.htm - jasonliman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0ewww... sweaty and sticky, no thanks
- masterkenobi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12The guy probably saw too many girls rip up his card when he gave it to them.
- SOULEVENT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@deviouscooper
Good One! - Bahimiron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark.
- haid, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2The card should have "Stretch Me" written in thin angled text.
When the card is stretched, the "Stretch Me" will become illegible. - RonnieSan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0For a business card, I think this is an excellent idea. I'm getting sick of people being "over-usable." This business card is great for branding purposes because it makes the card stand out from others. How many people actually keep personal trainer business cards in their wallet for reference. And how many people "don't" throw away plain boring business cards. If anything, I would be more likely to keep around this guy's business card because it is unique. If I decide to use him, it isn't that difficult to stretch the card and memorize the number before dialing. Also, he's got over 1000 digs on the design of his card which has given him great brand exposure.
So yeah, I'd say the business card is awesome. - RecoDesign, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1looks like a piece of fatback.
- alceria, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Given how difficult it will be to reveal the message on the card and attempt to write it down/dial the number, I don't get why the phone number is so disproportionately smaller than the guy's name and title. If you're gonna have to memorize the number to use it, the least they could do is print it large enough to be easily read.
- mkameli, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This guy's whole photoset of ads is very cool.
- Lasereth, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1How does crap like this make the front page? I mean seriously.
- UO07, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4well someone woke up on the wrong side of his mom this morning..
- chiuaua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5What about http://blog.morphix.si/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/vizitka.jpg
- marky7186, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The funny thing is that it has 40lbs of resistance to stretch it out...
- Coffee33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Should see a porn stars card.
- TheKarmaPolice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3not as good as tobias' card from arrested development.
"i'm a professional twice over! an analysist and therapist. the world's first analrapist!"- notastat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1That is truly an original graphic design for a business card design. Good work, this should be a catalyst for more graphic design outside the box.

- Jomwilli, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Phone Number Is On Back. Morans.
- SenorPez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If by "On Back" you mean "right underneath the words 'Personal Trainer' on the front," you are correct.
- xswag, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1If someone gave me that card it would go in the trash.
I do love Steve Wozniak's card though. If you haven't seen it check it out...

- tobikow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1ok, so now try reading the phone number with one hand while you dial with the other...
- jcjdoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here is a few I've collected.

But please ignore the index of my site. I am experimenting with blogging and am not having great luck in figuring out what I want to write about. NO ADS EITHER - ThunderHawk6630, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Anyone do something similar with a rubber band during exams in high school?
- solarpowered, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Requires Yahoo ID to view. Sucka.
LAME. Bury. - jdonner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Clever? I would call it stupid to design a business card that you can't read unless you stretch it.
What's next that you like? A web design with a 3D animation that takes 15 minutes to download with highspeed cable? -
