- Expletus, on 10/12/2007, -17/+48Although it is comprised of only fractals, another great site is exoteric.roach.org
http://exoteric.roach.org/bg/index.html- dmr0240, on 10/12/2007, -27/+5Wow, "Waveform" (http://exoteric.roach.org/bg/bgal18.html) is excellent. I might have to switch wallpapers.
- frogpelt, on 10/12/2007, -5/+28http://www.stevetruett.com/wallpaperpages/wallpaper_home.html is also a good one for high resolution fractal type backgrounds. Also free.

Farrell - apocalizer, on 10/12/2007, -27/+6C'mon people... be a man and make your own freaking wallpapers
Get a copy of Photoshop CS2 or Gimp and grab a bunch of tutorials and get to work!
[/sarcasm-you're going to need skills to do that decently] - xoineg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Don't forget to check out the Icons. they are great....If you are a mac user they have some cool folders so you can change the look of your folders.
- Civil44, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I love so many of these A+ thanks for making my desktop awsome again!
- SniperX, on 10/12/2007, -13/+7OK, why is 2560x1024 not a common thing yet? I know not EVERYONE has dual monitors but it's got to be one of the more common resolutions nowadays with LCDs becoming so cheap.
- joach, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Nice site!
Try to get it posted on http://www.wallpaperreview.com - afzilla, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3All I want is 1152 x 864 !
- dmr0240, on 10/17/2007, -16/+5I personally use "Ocean Hope" at 1920x1200.

not only does he have multiple sizes, he has made them to be used with multiple monitors.- procdaddy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13and he hates Windows!
- innate, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8I wasn't aware that he "hates Windows", but it can be a difficult to get multi-monitor wallpaper to work on Windows because you can't select a different wallpaper for each monitor. You have to stitch multiple images together using Photoshop and then use tile mode to make it work.
- Tekmazter, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I use something called Ultramon to handle my 3 screens using a single wallpaper. Very easy that way.
- wufenshu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It is sooooo sad seeing a good digg fall back into the dark and dusty archive.
http://www.ppef.info - agarc, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1In my opinion, this is the best wallpaper collection I have seen. Very nice!
- ibeetle, on 10/12/2007, -26/+2This story is just an advert for some wallpaper website.
Wose yet is half the backgrounds are 10 year old Windows and Apple wallpapers.- djjoemex, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Yea, yesterday I downloaded new wallpapers for Vista, I was more excited, this site is not official, it sucks

- john2kx, on 10/13/2007, -2/+40Usually, wallpaper websites featured on digg are crippled after just the first few digs.. But this one is suprisingly fast.
- Terc, on 10/12/2007, -8/+7it's crippled now
http://duggmirror.com/design/Superb_high_resolution_wallpapers_up_to_2560x1600#c2642256 - Hardcase, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Oh no it's not!
- upsilonh24, on 06/05/2008, -0/+2It's a trap!
- Terc, on 10/12/2007, -8/+7it's crippled now
- aNoble, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8This one always cracks me up ( http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details.php?id=681 ). You see it and similar shots as wallpaper all over the place. The irony of it is that it's one of the ugliest places in any Disney park anywhere during the day, but it does look nice at night.
- bradx3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8I wrote a* script to change my background regularly in XFCE using a Flickr pool. I think I'll modify it to use this feed tomorrow. You can get the old XFCE script here: http://www.scotchtober.com/blog/?p=23
* hackish, half finished, but mostly working - Decon89, on 10/22/2007, -2/+19This site is awesome :) Much better than clicking around on deviantart forever :D
- infobeat234, on 10/12/2007, -3/+03840x1024 resources would be great. mandolux has some decent ones, but I've used all of them before. anybody else have some decent ones?

- Mkizzle, on 10/12/2007, -16/+3Must be a lot of new people. Dugg a long time ago. but good for the kiddies to see nontheless.
- cwcheang, on 10/12/2007, -17/+8been on digg before. technically a dupe.. but dugg for excellent links in comments
- fishbert, on 10/30/2007, -4/+59"been on digg before."

- frith, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9High Quality desktop backgrounds are hard to find. Thanks to sites like Mandolux, and Interface lift we have them now, but I am still surprised that is so hard to find decent desktops for multiple monitors. I have a widescreen monitor set at 1920x1200 and a smaller 17 monitor set at 1280x1024, but it would be nice to have some bigger HQ widescreen desktops.
- wuxia, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3*Digg effect* now in process. Site times out.
- wuxia, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2sorry.. meant to say 'progress'
- moonaust, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4This site has always been awesome. The way they break it all down is so easy, it's the only place I get my background from now. Having three different computers (macs, of course) with three different resolutions, it's great to download in native resolution.
- kunalthakar, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1how long before it gets digged down? Its already very slow and with downloads this large, not much time left...
- Nathan07, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Being "digged down" does not mean that the site falls victim to the digg effect... If you digg down a story, you are labeling it as Inaccurate or Lame, or other such thing from the "Bury Story" box.
- Create, on 10/12/2007, -7/+6damn, from what i got see those wallpapers are beautiful!
but now the site is suffering the digg effect :(
gets my digg anyway - rragle, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3I find the best 2560x you have to pay for such as vladstudio.com - Mandolux.com is probably the best free high res wallpaper out there IMHO. Those who have the 30" screens know 90% of the photo desktop background sites look awesome in thumbnail preview but then when applied as a fullscreen background look like crap because of artifacts, noise, etc.
- synmoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Nobody caters to us 2960x1050 folk. :-(

- excelgamer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Great stuff - some truly impressive ones there. Although, it looks like I'm going to have to wait a day or two to grab some of them thanks to it catching the *digg effect*.
- lauch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I've been using this site for weeks. Every morning I'll check the site, and usually end up changing my desktop to the newest one. It's about time someone dugg for it.
- kholburn, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1http://wallpapers.interfree.it/index.html
- sLydE, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23840x1024 resources would be great. mandolux has some decent ones, but I've used all of them before. anybody else have some decent ones?
- RyanRalph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've been using this site for awile. Their Icons are even better!
- oracle202, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3digital blasphemey was old three years ago, now its quite horrid. this website is much much better, and the resolutions are fantastic.
- graywh, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2I use two 19" LCDs rotated 90 degrees at 1024x1280 for a total viewing area of 2048x1280. Atleast that's the same aspect ratio (8:5) of a 30" widescreen LCD, so I just scale down the 2560x1600 wallpapers.
- kronicoutkast, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2talk about the digg effect....
- ucerian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2InterfaceLIFT seems to be loading much faster now.

- Trams, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Hell yeah... love that site. I even submitted some wallpapers on there a while back. I get all my icons from there too. It used to be xicons.com (if any of the mac people remember that one) then they added wallpapers and themes and changed the name to interfacelift. Great name! Great site!
Here's my stuff on the site if anyone is interested:

- clemsontiger, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2how do you save these things. it keeps saving it as a php. maybe im just dumb
- Create, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3i had the same problem with firefox... its because of his goto.php script
to fix it, pick your size from the list, and then right click on the download link and select "copy link location" and then paste in a new tab or window or whatever and remove the "http://interfacelift.com/goto.php?url=" from the front of the link before clicking go and you can save them as normal.
its a little bit of a pita, but the wp's are worth it!

- Rikushix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5An amazing site for wallpapers. Especially love the Vancouver one, but maybe I'm biased from living there ;)
