CNN: Bertha Becomes Hurricane

edition.cnn.com — MIAMI, Florida (CNN)- Bertha became the first hurricane of the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season early Monday, according to the National Hurricane Center. As of 5 a.m. ET, Bertha was 845 miles (1365 km) east of the northern Leeward Islands and was moving toward the west-northwest near 17 mph. It was packing winds of 75 mph -- the minimum for hurricane

    I've seen post after post about the "dumb rednecks" that build along the rivers up north that are flooding.
    Well, some think idiots who build in south Florida are stupid as well.
    At least where I am, all we have to worry about is a tornado once in a while. Tornadoes are like hurricanes that only stick around for a few seconds.
