- ascguy, on 07/22/2008, -0/+1195% of us drive less than 100 miles per day. Considering most electric cars go between 200 and 250 miles between charges, it really is asinine that more of these cars aren't already on the market.
- BigManOnCampus, on 07/22/2008, -0/+8I did get by with an electric car, it's called the Metro Rail.
- madeingermany, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1My bus is a hybrid :p
- hollywoodphony, on 07/23/2008, -0/+4I think you can't ignore that a lot of people consider most smaller, fuel-efficient cars unsafe. I think they need to make a regular-sized "safe" electric car before it'll catch on in the mainstream.
- yellowcakewalk, on 07/23/2008, -0/+4I commuted with BigManOnCampus, on the Red Line. Best thing to do is get rid of your car altogether. An electric car still needs, guess what, lots of electricity. Where does that electricity come from. Take the bus, metro, bike, walk, just get out of the car habit altogether.
- erichansa, on 07/23/2008, -0/+1Hi, I already dugg your story as you wish. Please add me as your friends so that we can change more good stories.
Cheers - BadgerDigger, on 09/04/2008, -0/+1The thing to think about with your statement is where do we get the electricity from? Coal, Solar, Wind, Nuclear, other, they all seem to have people who complain about them.
