  • hollywoodphony, on 07/23/2008, -0/+4I think you can't ignore that a lot of people consider most smaller, fuel-efficient cars unsafe. I think they need to make a regular-sized "safe" electric car before it'll catch on in the mainstream.

An electric car still needs, guess what, lots of electricity. Where does that electricity come from. Take the bus, metro, bike, walk, just get out of the car habit altogether.
