- BigManOnCampus, on 11/01/2007, -0/+1Meh, I'm all for more efficient vehicles, but mandating what kind of vehicles can be sold is nothing more than disguised communism. I agree we should to everything we can to get our economy off of oil. Personally I either ride a bike or take public transit for my commute, every day. I don't do that because I want to feel self-righteous, I do it because it saves me like $400 a month in gas costs alone.
If you want to get America off of oil (or foreign oil if it makes you feel better), then set personal examples, don't legislate.
