UK Creates Dept. of Energy and Climate Change
triplepundit.com — As part of Prime Minister Gordan's reshuffle, a new department was created that is likely to boost growth in the renewable energy industry, while addressing climate change. "The new department puts climate change where it belongs, with its own seat at the cabinet table," said Stephen Hale, Director of the think-tank the Green Alliance.

The USA already has a dept. of Energy. what really needs to happen is for the US to consolidate the dept of transportation and the dept of energy into one dept. Call it the dept of energy infrastructure. This will reduce the amount of split incentives and really plan for the future.
