What kind of leftist wacko judge is U.S. District Judge David Lawson?
You have millions of Americans who are hurting and could benefit from a new supply of energy...and this liberal judge is worrying about an endangered bird.
Here is a quick Wiki bio on this judge:

* Notice how it was Clinton who nominated him. Big surprise there. - p51d007, on 07/12/2008, -1/+2Yep, another Slick Willie appointed judge (hey, if you all on digg can call George Bush all the names you do, at least let me call Billy boy slick willie).
I wonder how much more Americans are going to take, before they've said they've had enough! We have TONS of oil here on the USA shores, but oh no, can't drill here, might hurt some stupid bird, fish or tree.
It's a good think the "modern" environmental movement wasn't as bad when the Alaskan oil pipeline was built, or it never would have been built. Oh the animals would die, etc........h*ll, the animal population has exploded where the pipeline is located because these "stupid animals" LOVE the heat generated and use it to stay WARM in the winter.
The first politician who says wildlife be da*ned, we are going to responsibly drill for oil ANYWHERE in the USA,
gets my vote! - BillE3, on 07/12/2008, -1/+2Wildlife is far more capable to adapting the change in their environment (like noisey machinery) than humans are. More times than not the wildlife will take advantage of the change for their benefit for comfort or for accessing the food supply. Our regulations and rules on protecting the environment are very strict and monitored closely during drilling and production phases of oil and gas business. This includes the off shore activity as well. The environmentalists simply want us to live in caves like Osama Bin Laden.
- VBDon, on 07/13/2008, -0/+1Another victory for Arianna Huffington and George Soros in their effort to destroy America. Fortunately, the case can now go to a real judge on the Appellate Court and be overturned. This is one more reason why we need a Republican in the White House and more of them in the Senate and House. Vote McCain!!1
