World's First Hydrogen-Powered Motorbike Demonstrated in UK
gas2.org — Scientists at Loughborough University have this week demonstrated the ENV, the world ’s first ever hydrogen-powered motorbike. The bike contains an onboard fuel cell, filled with hydrogen in just three minutes. The cell then converts the hydrogen to electricity, enabling speeds of over 50 mph, and a range of 100 miles.

- dampfire, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1pretty awesome
- pokechop, on 10/09/2008, -0/+1Yeah that's great but hydrogen fuel cells are a bit expensive, I think more people/manufactures should be looking into hydrogen generators. Cut your current vehicles gas usage safely by up to 40%, with a few other mods, you could make an even bigger difference. Only one serious drawback if you DIY and blow up your engine because you made the ratio to hydrogen rich, your buying the next engine yourself.....
