Burger King To Offer Huge Burger Meant To Feed 6 People

consumerist.com — The 6 Pack, which costs £4.49 on its own or £5.69 as part of a meal, comprises one big Aberdeen Angus patty inside six rolls, stuck together to allow consumers to tear off portions. In one pair of rolls the burger is topped with ketchup, the second has a cheese topping, and the third bacon and cheese.

The Burger Bundles were sold in a set of three or six, much like White Castle or Krystal burgers, but served in a single package. The sandwich was reintroduced in a slightly different format called Burger Buddies. Instead of three or six miniature hamburger patties, it had a single number eight shaped patty that was served on a pair of co-joined buns.       These companies put millions of dollars into research just to come up with a new burger. And when they do, they make sure it's going to taste good.

          That may be true but Americans, in general, are also taller and larger framed. Therefore the larger diet makes sense.

          But he wasn't trying to talk about the fact that we eat more he was trying to make a fat joke based on the misconception that Americans are all fat pigs.

          @Used - I always thought it was Italy who ate the largest portions. I have some italian friends whose parents are immigrants and they eat HUGE dinners and HUGE lunches. I know American's eat the most ***** food. For example 6 greaseball burgers for lunch and then a 1/3lb burger for dinner with fries and an extra large shake.

          @bobby - I don't mean to show off my ability to eat six fattening burgers. I was trying to make a point that just because the US is filled with overweight people doesn't mean we're all fat and capable of eating six of these things. I wanted to show him that you can be a healthy weight and be able to eat that much food and that it has nothing to do with being overweight.

          @noah - That's exactly what I was thinking he meant.

          Maybe I misunderstood what he was getting at and Used is right about his post. I apologize if I was wrong there.

I recently went to Tokyo and I saw maybe four fat people my entire stay there, 2 were sumo wrestlers and one was an american tourist. Everytime i go to visit my girlfriends hometown of Cincinnati i am amazed at how many fat people there are, there are more obese people there than there are healthy, skinny people. There is also fast food at every street corner. Ive seen the same in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Michigan, and Texas.

That's like saying a White Castle 12 pack will successfully feed 6 people. The people buying this are not super models or health nuts, they are usually big, hungry guys. This 6 pack will feed 2-3 of them at best.
