Damn, I could totally go for a provolone burger with guacamole... can find decent guacamole to save my life...- jcaino, on 07/03/2008, -0/+9Guacamole is not all that hard to make...
- smoothlou, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1Here's a quick recipe:
2 Avocados
2 Jalapeno peppers (medium size)
1 medium tomato
1 small onion
1 lime
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
(optional) - 1 Tablespoon of Mayonnaise
Large Bowl
Potato Masher or large serving spoon
1: Cut the avocados in half. Take the pits out and set them aside (don't throw them out). Remove the peels and place them in the large bowl.
2: Cut the jalapeno peppers in half and remove the seeds and pulp from the middle. Set them aside as well. If you have sensitive skin, wear gloves or plastic bags over your hands to avoid contact with the peppers. Dice the jalapenos into small chunks and add them to the bowl.
3: Dice the tomato and the onion into small chunks and add them to the bowl as well. Now, add your spices to taste, then take the potato masher (or a large spoon) and mash your ingredients up in the bowl.
4: Mix everything together and try it out. If it is not spicy enough, add some of the seeds from the jalapenos, but remember, a little goes a long way.
5: Cut the lime and squeeze all of the juice into the bowl, and for a creamier guacamole, add a tablespoon of mayo. stir it all until it is evenly blended, and voila, fantastic guacamole is your reward.

- thatfunman, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2Or you can substitute all those ingredients for a boca burger patty.

- beauley, on 07/12/2008, -0/+1In order to sell food to millions of consumers, the food industry must make it appealing to as many as possible, from the young child to the elderly. In order to accomplish this, individual food suppliers use additives to make their foods taste better.
