Trader Joe's Nixes Chinese Imports

thedailygreen.com — Trader Joe's stores will stop selling all "single-ingredient" foods imported from China by April 1. That means no Chinese garlic, but no limit to the Chinese vitamins or other additives that might be in processed food. (It was melamine, an industrial chemical substituted for wheat gluten in pet foods, that kicked off the China food scare in 2007)
