- JMPeronto, on 08/07/2008, -0/+5I think I'm going to be sick.
- Zontral, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2Wow, I've been a packers fan because of Favre, this is going to be a very interesting year now that he's on a different team.
- terrenceisdaman, on 08/07/2008, -6/+1Good riddance. I think the packers should have kept him and benched is cry baby ass. He is just as bad as T.O. Way to ruin your stellar career.
- slamm71, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0I don't know why you're being dugg down. It's the same thing year after year, then finally he announces his true retirement and we even have to watch his teary-eyed press conference. A few months later what do you know he's back and raising a huge stink about wanting to be released after everything the Packers have done for him over the years? Pathetic.
- WickedEdge, on 08/07/2008, -1/+2Hell, I say let the friggin man play. Question is, can he bring the jets to the superbowl? I mean they haven't won a superbowl since uh, superbowl 3? lol.
- poorbusker, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1was it worth it Brett?? Probably not. Like MJ and the Wizard's...mostly likely a forgotten footnote of your career
- justinhilario, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2Does he really believe this is the best place to play? He's gonna play in the same division as the New England Patriots so any hope of winning the division is out of the question.
- czar0406, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0This is not going to work out well for the jets at all. they have a premiere athlete in favre...but only for 1....MAYBE...2 seasons. and god forbid, lets not forget about the potential of an injury. Brett's not young anymore, one awkward hit this season and this would have been all for nothing for the jets
- soundview369, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1I can't believe this. He comes off one of the best seasons of his career, everyone loves him, the perfect time to retire, and then this? The jets? THE JETS?! This season is not going to go well. Not to mention the madden curse...
- MasterChief4134, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1i think i'll give my preorder of Madden to someone else now...
- darthpaul88, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2does the madden curse still go through if the cover player is wearing a different jersey?
- gcacho, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1The Madden curse is neigh omnipotent. Apparently, Favre, a Hall of Famer, couldn't resist its power.
- goelz83, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Dugg over the other submissions for the title...
- arb0324, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0I thought one of the major reasons he wanted to get out of Green Bay was to be on a Super Bowl contending team. . . Good luck finding that with the Jets Brett
- MercedRocks, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Go knows the Jets need a decent QB
- Wailord, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0That's ridiculous... he should just stay retired. He'll lose the respect he had in Green Bay, and now he'll have a (very good) chance of going out on a horrible season.
- jc7012, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0It'll be an interesting year.
We Jets fans don't have much goin for us, just let me be hopeful for once. - Jaserr83, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0F-A-V-R-E Jets, Jets, Jets!
I wonder what Kevin Rose thinks of the move?- ratbear, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0what every other bandwagon packers fan thinks... "meh, guess I'll have to find a new team".
- mjsamps, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Oddly enough Favre was reportedly lured with the prospects of New Jersey. New Jersey!! The Jets showed him real estate and hunting opportunities near their facility in Florham Park. Welcome to the Garden State Brett!
