Ad space on laptop lids: A million-dollar idea?
sachachua.com — Sacha Chua toys around with the idea of renting out ad space on her laptop lid. Rates are cheap: USD 1.00 per 0.5" x 0.5" of space, with a premium option (USD 2.00) for a 40-second sales pitch. Cute geek girl + insanely tiny laptop = $$$ (?)

- mikeabundo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A shameless good idea -- the best kind. ;)
- vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think including the 40 sec pitch and contact info makes a very tempting deal. Oh, plus the whole cute geek girl daintly typing away in emacs on small computer.
- einthar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1go sacha! :)
- junasis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is actually good business sense behind the fun. But I think you have to be as cute as Sacha to get away with it.
- mikeabundo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm cute. Maybe I should try this.
- mikeabundo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Global microbrand, baby.

- ezzbud, on 01/17/2008, -0/+0Great Idea, but what if you could control all the ads that displayed on every web page that anyone maybe browsing to? What if there was a company that could put your ad on the front page of every web site that had advertising on it? What if this company paid network providers for offering their ad content on their networks across the country? Does Google, Yahoo, or MSN pay network providers for allowing ad content on their network on almost every page now days that has it? Don't think so. This one does!!!!!!!!
They are brand new and are going live this month. This is going to truly change the way on-line Internet advertising is done forever!
If This gets enough response. I will post something about it soon.
