Worst of the Web for two years running

networkworld.com — That's the uncomfortable verdict for PCMall and PCConnection rendered this morning by the just-released "ForeSee Results Top 100 Online Retail Satisfaction Index." PCMall and PCConnection not only bring up the rear among computer and electronics sites, they bring up the rear, period -- just as they did last year.

      • fkr3, on 05/15/2008, -4/+1It's crashing Opera when I view any discussion. Also it's tearing Firefox a new ass but not actually crashing it. My workstation sounds like a plane's taking off from the fans switching to high speed to deal with processing the comments.

        I'm typing about 8x faster than the browser is able to keep up with too.....

I have blocked a bunch of spammers over the last comment system; a crossed circle would appear besides someone's name after you blocked their comment, and that would block them. Any comment they'd make would appear buried, you'd have to click "show comment" to see it (and possibly bury it).

    "Yeah...I read about it....They came to us to sell stuff last year and
    we didn't spend a penny with them. They should have at least
    correlated their findings with year over year performance on NasdaqGM.
    They didn't bother to validate their conclusions. It is a standard
    mistake committed by statisticians who focus heavily on data models.
