The Theatre and File Share videos require halo 3 to watch because it uses the halo 3 engine to render. That is how they keep the file sizes so small, they are all just 3D data.

        • blahtastic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4If you happen to have a DVR/DVD burner (like I do :) ) you can just plug halo in that thing, record it to the HD, burn it on a DVD, then do what you wish with it (rip it, just store your good vids on the dvd's to free up bungie storage space, etc). I've done other games that way before. It's a little roundabout, but if you have the machine already its easier than getting a tuner card.

        The save files arn't even flash, they are game code made for playback only through the halo engine. This keeps the file sizes so small no matter how long the video may be.

      Or if your TV has a video/audio out connect that to the dvd recorder.
      From there just record what you playback, copy it to a disc (if you recorded to HD), edit on the computer, upload to youtube.

A friend of mine has a pic where he was aiming at one guy's head with the sniper rifle and right when he fired one guy jumped in front of the guns path in front of the intended victim and another ran behind the intended victim. He got a tripple kill with three headshots in one shot by complete accident. I wouldn't have believed it if he didn't show me.

If all you enjoy is the multi-player, and you don't have HD, and there are no other games that interest you for the xbox 360, then it is probably not worth it.

I also bought Forza 2 when I got the system because every review I saw of the game said it was great. They were right. It is probably the best racing game, overall, that I've ever played. There are some improvements to be made but I can't think of another game that can compete with it on a whole-game level.

They are expertly textured and shaded, and extremely crisp, but the graphical ambiance is identical to Halo 2. But graphics aside, the multi-player feel is pretty darn perfect. Every weapon is powerful and (at least apparently) balanced. Returning to Halo 2 for a quick game session exposed a lot of improvements and I would never go back.

I quit playing Halo2 in any kind of competitive way because in bigteam you can never move more than 10 yards without getting sniped by someone 1/2 way across the map (and almost always a headshot too, WHILE running, jumping and zig-zagging).

If you want to prove it to yourself try to snipe your own teammates with the same "skill' that you can snipe enemy targets. Alternately try to snipe enemy drivers out of the warthog (autoaim is disabled when the enemy is in the warthog driver seat).
