voiceoverture.net — Some people are still under the impression that it ’s easy to do the voice acting for a video game. You just read some dialog and head home and call it an early day. One of these people seems to be the President and CEO of O~3 Entertainment, Chris Jelinek.

  • pistonhonda, on 07/14/2008, -2/+99Chris Seavor, the producer of Conker's Bad Fur Day, did most of the voices for his game and it's considered a cult classic. However, I don't think Chris Jelinek's Chaos Wars is going to share the same fate.

    They'd have been better off omitting the voice-over altogether.

    • wutimatang, on 07/15/2008, -2/+2On a side note, Conkers Bad Fur Day had some of the most addicting multiplayer game play of any N64 game ever created. The single player was fun and quirky and original, but to me the multiplayer really made the game.

I was disappointed to find out the only thing they brought over was the single player. They added the 'live' multi modes which are fun, but seriously they don't hold a candle to the 64 multi modes. I was wondering why Rare would do that.. i mean, I would have gone for a local mode 64 multi mode and the live mode they added for online only.Maybe there is some other reason, when they were porting it over or something.

It sounds like there was no direction at all ! That is the biggest mistake. I am sure anyone from here could of made a decent director as there is a different person for each voice.
