- H080J03, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14someone needs to get out there and make a list of all these wii friendly sites.
- rockforever, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Wow, ive been a member of finetune for a while now and i had no idea they had done this to there site! Great stuff for my wii
- AudioDan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24@H080J03, Here's my list, so far. Anyone else, feel free to add on.

- docdoak, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Yes! More stuff to help me feel fulfilled in life until my untimely death when it will be too late to realize there were more important things in life!
- kingfelix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7better than a list, visit and bookmark this site on your wii

(wii portal) - soccerboi00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I can confirm that that tinyurl link does go to a Wii Portal, and not some gay porn site.
- Psykaze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4also www.swiitspot.com is a pretty cool site
- OlnyGuy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I have been looking for something like this! It works great. Nice find.
- TooEarly, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Looks pretty good. I like how they misspelled "we can stream YOU music based on..."
I thought that was kind of funny.
Good find though. - raleel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8think the site must be getting hammered, because it's very very slow
- Psykaze, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Another site sucumbs to the power of the 'Digg Effect'....
- HaxityHaxHaxed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1All I get is please wait while playing a song..is it feeling the digg effect or what?
- Pic0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2very nice
is there a way to make a wii friendly page?- matthall28, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3theres a Wii friendly Wordpress template that you could hack to make a Wii friendly site
- ydt89, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4you just gave me a great idea *cough*wiifriendlydigg*cough*
- msephton, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Wii focussed digg like site
http://wiigg.wiinintendo.net - soccerboi00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thats not what they meant, lol.
- Smuikas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A concur--
Are there guides out there to creating a Wii friendly page?
Or is it just a matter of making sure your site works well on a low resolution, using accessibility standards and strictly conforming xhtml/css (since it's just the Opera browser)?
- Breakpoint25, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2how is this legal with the songs? are they copyright?
- MSTK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Well, it streams the songs as opposed to letting you download them. Not sure if that makes a difference.
- nyx210, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's almost like radio. You can listen to songs as long as you like for free, but you can't actually pick the specific song that you want.
- Breakpoint25, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3but the radio channel pays the people who made the song, im sure this site does not which I assume is illegal
Im just curious, Im not gonna turn anyone in or anything like that - eric1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, usually they limit the number of skips too, as per their license, so that you can't just skip to find the song you want. That's how Pandora does it.
Can't say if it actually works, but the interface is great -- very Wii like. - Nat5an, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2ASCAP (one of the main music licensors in the US, which represents the artists) provides a couple of music licenses for internet playback of music. Basically, you pay for the license and you can broadcast music by any ASCAP artist, of course IANAL, that's just how I understand it...I could be wrong. http://www.ascap.com/weblicense/
- Denver80203, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I only wish I could tune in during games. After a while the sound track in bowling gets REALLY old. I could go on playing that for quite a while if only for better tunes
- ArmchairAthlete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wasn't working at first but now it seems ok. DUGG!
Now if only Vibe Streamer would work on my wii so I could stream from my PC to my Wii. Maybe someone has an alternative for this on Wii?- Scuba, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Orb works great for music: http://orb.com
It displays Album Art along with songs. Also manages video, though the transcoding from avi -> flash seems a little sluggish. - Elric1977, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Orb does not work with Mac's, so it's poop :P
- Scuba, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Orb works great for music: http://orb.com
- Enixile, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Is anyone having problems with the playlists showing up on the Wii? For me, it just says 1/0 in the bottom right hand corner.
- j3one, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2sheesh. Anything can be made to work with the wii. Its called flash and big buttons. Audio, Video are great with flash, but you can also make some killer games. Anything that works with only mouse input is already good to go. I don't see why you cant also just have a wii friendly version of of your site with a diff style sheet making everything larger.
- JoshHendo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Just one question... Why does this link to http://www.teknision.com/wii/player.html and not http://finetune.com/wii/player.html ?
- BLueSS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Teknision is the site of the people who created Finetune, and that's probably the older link. Nothing to worry about though. Just visit teknision's main page to check it out.
- nanboya, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I love how the new sites are building for the lower rez layout of the Wii!
- Salgat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1The radio seems to be slow.
- JoeFrontier, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1We'll be releasing a similar product for video at www.cozmotv.com shortly.
- silga, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2this pwns
- electronicmaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can the accelerometers of the wiimote be tracked by flash? imagine the possibilities if it could be hacked to read it!
- Scuba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wouldn't that be tracking standard mouse movement? Or do you mean for complete 3D response, which would be really cool. MusicMatrix!
- dr00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1there's a bunch of flash games what work with the remote, just do google search and you'll find a lot of portal pages with tons of links.
- Damienk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Very cool, works well. Loves it.
- Cubedude04, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can anyone one help me.
When i go to finetune.com/wii and search for my profile it never comes up thus i cant get it working
What am i doing wrong?
thankyou in advance- Myst3r1o, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm actually having the same problem. I registered a new account, then created a new playlist and added a few songs and then went to http://www.teknision.com/wii/player.html and tried to search for my profile, but it keeps saying "Profile not found." What are we doing wrong?
Thanks. - mykel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sure... there is a bug in the profile view... you need to have at least 1 complete/playable finetune playlist for your profile to show up... we're working on fixing this for people who have favorite artists and tags but no playable playlists.
- Elric1977, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nothing wrong, the site isn't "fully functional" yet. Relax and keep trying.

- thinkycap, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Can't wait until you can stream video on the Wii. I STILL can't get one where I live, but it's sounding sweeter everyday.
- mdearl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You can stream video to your wii from a networked PC using WiiMediaCenterX from Red Kawa. You have to convert your movies to flv files but it does work well. Can also access pics. They have music functionality but it doesnt quite work yet.
- thinkycap, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sweet mother of God. Thanks for the tip. Oddly, we were both dugg down.
Digg users...I swear I don't get em. - TheG2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Converting your movies to Flash first isn't a viable option and hence the reason no one really uses WiiMediaCenterX. Thats probably why your getting dugg down.
- aikinurse, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0www.orb.com works great for media streaming.
- crapol, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty Cool
- dr00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this is incredible.
one of my only disappointments about opera on the wii was pandora not working =( - MrHoops515, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Add your list of Wii Web sites on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Web_Sites
- Gizzmo0411, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does it stream the whole song? I'm only getting the first few seconds of it...is that right?
- GuitarHero94, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is cool, when I connect my Wii to the internet im going to use this!
- izzy4505, on 04/13/2008, -0/+0If you're looking for a less-pandora and more-shoutcast type of music on your Wii, check out http://www.wiimusic.net
