- Splitt3rxx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6OMFG forget renting, I want to buy this game!!!
- thiagoleon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I have this game (japanese version), and it is great!
Sadly, though, the star fox "boss" minigame is not that satisfying... it's too difficult to control :(
- thiagoleon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I have this game (japanese version), and it is great!
- VgMasta, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Damn
That's Hot - TimDub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+32Digg for ROB's cameo as the level boss.
- daridave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Rob.
Star Fox.
SMOOTH FREAKIN FRAMERATE.
I don't care if it lasts 15 seconds. Wii wants it.
- daridave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Rob.
- NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -27/+6I hate the concept of Wario Ware, but the star fox part looked cool. If only it lasted longer than 20 seconds.
It was weird seeing the SNES style graphics done with real polygons. It just looked, different.- qazwsxedc30, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28Have you even played Starfox? That is exactly what it looked like on the SNES, with thoes 'real polygons' as you would say.
- pinesol101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7What confuses me is that that level looks nothing like the one for the SNES. They changed up that level a bit.
- NiGHTSChao, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Looks like the frame-rate is better and they made those "goal posts/rings" taller and thicker
:3 I still gots me my StarFox cart for SNES - SteaminTmann, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7If I remember correctly, starfox was a huge deal because it was the first game to use polygons,at least on a console.. and that was exactly how it looked
- ShadowH8ing, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3pay no attention to neotechni, he's just a sony fanboi; he can't help but be ignorant.
- NiGHTSChao, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5What the *****?
Nothing he said made him sound like a Sony-Fanboy
GTFO - ShadowH8ing, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12if you ever see read all the stories that he's commented on, he's exhumes a flaming sony fanboi

"Um, we've been able to download movies to PSP since the day it came out, that doesn't make UMD dead."

"Disagreed. It is a complete master at photos and music. It lets you rip CDs to any of 3 codecs and any bitrate from both CD/DVD and any USB device and back to the USB device, gets ID3 tag info online, auto renames files with the same name, visualizations for both photo and music modes. Even movie playback, with animated thumbnails and support for many MPEG codecs.
It's almost as good as XBMC on some levels, and completely blows it out of the water on most of them"

a) defends the UMD format
b) defends the ps3... one of the many articles in which he defends the ps3...
c) defends blu-ray, even though resistance was shown to just have dummy sectors
d) defends sony's "motion sensing patent" even though it's blatantly obvious to everyone else in the world that sony copied the idea from nintendo and how the patent was filed after the e3 unveiling of the wii. - ShadowH8ing, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2*edit time got me
i forgot to add this one where he defends sony not being able to accept ps2/1 cards on the ps3
http://digg.com/gaming_news/Top_10_PS3_Complaints
"About the complaints with the memory card adapter: Isn't PS3 supposed to replace your PS1/PS2? Why would you copy saves back? Why would you leave saves uncopied?" - NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1WTF? I said it looked neat
And by him saying nothing I said made me look like a Sony fanboy, he meant in this topic.
Looking at your previous posts you're not innocent yourself jerk.
Let he who is WITHOUT SIN cast the first stone. You are more of a fanboy than most of the people I've seen
Starfox used poor shading, and rudimentary math to generate it's polygons.
The ones in that video looked smoother, I said it looked different. I can't place my finger on it
Why are you taking it as an insult? - Blah_Blah_Blah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Starfox uses rudimentary math? wtf are you spewing? You are right that the parent post is innocent, but you do have a history of sony-fanboyism (or girlism if your the techni from gameFAQs)
- NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Starfox uses rudimentary math? wtf are you spewing?"
Technically a rudimentary processor.
Gees am I the only one who noticed it looks different?
At the very least the SNES one used dithering for shading, and this one uses smooth shading
Or is different an offense against Nintendo?
And what fanatacism I have expressed in other topics/sites is completely irrelevant, considering I was paying it (Star fox on wii) a complement - NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"If I remember correctly, starfox was a huge deal because it was the first game to use polygons"
http://www.frontierastro.co.uk/Elite/arc.html
Archimedes Elite was released 2 years before Starfox, though for PC
- tekrat, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6I love its look. I wonder how many people will get half of those old skool references? Starfox, R.O.B., bowling with Samus, Punchout, and an actual Super Fanicom.
- djSyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26"I wonder how many people will get half of those old skool references? ... an actual Super Fanicom"
Apparently not you. That's a Famicom in the video, not a SuperFamicom. - Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Not to mention Diskun (Famicom Disk System mascot) on the poster behind the till.
- StarManta, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2or a Super Fanicon.
- djSyndrome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26"I wonder how many people will get half of those old skool references? ... an actual Super Fanicom"
- neiltc13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This game came out on Friday and the old nintendo games stage is a highlight. I'm not sure it's going to last very long though.
- Adlad, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9That game would drive me ***** insane. Was it made for people with ADD or something?
- Neploxo, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3I think it was made to give people seizures. That's not the only game like that. Did you see the one the other day with 12 players? I can't tell WTF's happening, it goes by too fast for my old eyes. And what's with the stupid old man giggling and handing you a box between minigames? I think you're watching that 50% of the time and gaming only the other 50%. I don't see how anyone can play this.
- saska, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yes. And we loves it, yes we does.
- convictravers, on 10/12/2007, -21/+2Is it just me or do nintendo make the same games for every console they produce? WOW starfox yeah cool ten years ago!!!
- blork1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Um, the game is Wario Ware...
If you'd said they make WW for every console, you'd be on to something. But they are always awesome, and let you get to grips with new control schemes. I just wish Twisted would come out in Europe. - Michalson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Don't let him bother you, he's just more interested in his PS3, on which he's going to be able to play an original game like Final Fantasy XIII. Or Final Fantasy XXI if you include the subtitled ones. Or Final Fantasy XXV if you include the Legends and Crystal Chronicles spinoff franchises. Or Final Fantasy XXXIV if you include the Chocobo subseries of spinoffs. In fact now that I think about it, the game won't be seeing release until 2008 (potentially 2009), and there are several Final Fantasy games confirmed to come out before then, bumping it up to about Final Fantasy XXXIX. Hey, if we include either Final Fantasy VII Snowboarding or the Final Fantasy III remake for DS (in many ways it's a complete remake of the game in a similar vein to Metroid: Zero Mission, so we could count it as a seperate game) that would bring us up to a cool name like Final Fantasy XL.
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Michalson: Did Square Enix kill your family or something? I'm not a huge fan of theirs either, but what the hell, that was a totally ***** unnecessary tangent right there. From where in that comment did you pull anything about Final Fantasy? Seriously, explain.
- Willeth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ugh, Twisted's delay is a complete joke. I'm glad I imported it after the first one or I'd be really angry.
- blork1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Um, the game is Wario Ware...
- XStatic, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Funny spinning top robot holding the gun
- NiGHTSChao, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2This isnt gaming news :/
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Would it be gaming news if it was about the PS3, almighty unbiased one in a sea of idiots?
- KyotoWolf, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1spyfox beats starfox
- ahcomeon, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1I could have sworn the title said StarFox with Wii Controller!! Did I miss the part where they showed that?
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Obviously! Keep watching the video, *****. Reading the description also helps.
- doshindude, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1why did this make the front page? this is old.
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Maybe it was dugg by people who haven't seen the video or played the game.
You know, as in the story's target audience. - PacoDG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The only Wario Ware video I have seen, is that one that people have to mimic dance moves by some polygon group of people. Though funny, it made me think very little of the game. However, this video, very new to me, excites me how they put in so many older game references and game types.
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Maybe it was dugg by people who haven't seen the video or played the game.
- sonofcali, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I've already seen videos of this. WW references other games too. There's a mini-game where you have to pull the Master sword out of the stone.
- NikoKun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Am i the only person that things this game is far to weird and random and fast? XD its just... insane... and while some might like that... It confuses me, and i'd get all disoriented @_@... this is not a game I'd be able to play very well...
- grumbel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Getting disoriented is kind of the point to the game. Its not exactly the type of game you play to relax.
- UtopianComplex, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Wario Ware loooks sooooo oooooo oooo bad. Now if it were just the star fox part extended I would be more into it. Can't wii get more real games? Please?
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I could've sworn Wario Ware was a real game. God, maybe I'm just living in some kind of hazy dream world where nothing's true. Thanks for the enlightenment!
That said, I bought the game on Friday and I'm enjoying it greatly. Bite me.
- Klarth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I could've sworn Wario Ware was a real game. God, maybe I'm just living in some kind of hazy dream world where nothing's true. Thanks for the enlightenment!

*digg down - twesterm, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Duplicate, I posted this a month and a half ago. :P
http://digg.com/gaming_news/5_Minute_Clip_of_Wario_Ware_Smooth_Moves - Theory557, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's awsome. It almost makes me want to pull out my SNES and play some Star Fox. :p
- VgMasta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Smooth Moves looks good. I saw twesterm's vid too.
That Starfox Boss microgame would make an AWESOME minigame.
Am I right?
You could try to see how far you can go and/or how many points you could get before you give in.- Willeth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a shame they didn't include this as an unlockable like they have done with other microgames in the past. It may be the one I have left to unlock, but I have strong suspicions of it being Pyoro W or something.
- TDR25, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This game along with Wii Play look insanely weird to me, but for some reason, I see myself rushing to the line to buy this along with the Wii(if it ever becomes available). I won't see that Wario Ware or Wii Play are system sellers-though the Wii can sell well on it's own-but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if these games and others like it move several thousand systems. Again, that is if you can find the Wii though. I know a lot of people that are buying games for and accessories for the Wii without even having a system!
