gamercenteronline.net — At a recent event held in Delhi, Microsoft India revealed some very key information on the future of Xbox and the present. At the event they confirmed that the long rumored Xbox 360 Slim is actually real and that we should wait for an announcement sometime in December

In this case slim probably means 2/3rds the size, an internal HD and the death of the arcade SKU once the old models have sold out. Hopefully they'll even dump the ethernet port for built in WiFi.

Keep the USB ports and let it work with ethernet dongles, and that's fair enough for most people. Hopefully, they'd have it work with any plug-n-play ethernet dongle so as to not alienate people who don't have/want wireless.

      From first to current:
      1) 2 full backward compatible (HDMI and card reader 60GB, and the other with none 20GB)
      2) software backward compatibility only (80 GB)
      3) 2 no backward compatible (80GB and 40GB)
      And the various packages ie gunmetal MGS4
      Talk about going from what they promised to something that just plays PS3 and BD only. Lucky i got the 60GB version so i can play GoW2 in 720P wide screen. Too bad for the rest who got the no backward SKU.

      PS. The main difference between 360 SKU is below
      360 SKU
      1) Without HDMI (with 20GB or without hard drive but has 64MB memory card)
      2) With HDMI (with 20,60 or 120GB or without hard drive but has 256MB memory card)
      You can complain about color, and claim thats a different SKU, but then you'd look stupid or a Sony fanboy.

      PS. All of them have backward compatibility as long as you have some memory unit (Hard Drive or memory card)
