      Hell no. I haven't upgraded my PC in several years, and it still suits me just fine, and I play CoD4, Supreme Commander, etc. But at least it's an option with PCs, whereas with consoles you're stuck with what they give you until they make a completely new console for you to buy.

I was able to play it on medium settings on my 1.6Ghz centrino laptop, 9600 Pro, 1GB PC2700 and 4200RPM HDD. Still looked pretty amazing and no hiccups. Considering those specs are borderline legacy, I was very surprised it ran at all.

I get plenty of games for each, but there are some things the PC can't be touched in. Graphics is one area. Consoles are good too- you don't have to dick around with drivers or install a new game before you play it, they either have the game out for the console or they don't. It also is horrifically pricey to stay on the leading edge of PC tech- oh well. So worth it.
