OBDII, a Laptop and a Jeep: Studying Vehicle Performance & Fuel Consumption

omninerd.com — With gas prices getting out of control, I decided to teach myself just how much fuel "conservative" driving habits could save. Using an OBDII interface, I logged data from the Jeep's ECU and proceeded to analyze it's performance. While the experiment proved common sense assumptions, I was surprised HOW MUCH fuel could be saved.
