- ColonelTribune, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Agreed. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's is draining physically, emotionally and financially.
- alapoet, on 07/09/2008, -2/+4After watching my late dad succumb to Alzheimer's, and now my mom's decline as well, I welcome any signs of hope so that other families won't have to watch this slow, cruel disease take their loved ones.
- pinkpackrat, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1interesting and hopeful study. We are what we eat in so many ways-- I think the increase in Altzheimers like the increase in Autism world-wide is connected in some way to what chemicals and pollutants are doing to our brains.....if only we knew:-)
- Borgcube636, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1Good nutrition and exercise is the most fundamental thing one can do to guard against Alzheimer's - or any illness. But our society would rather people take pills for every problem so they can profit. True, some medicine is amazingly useful and good, but it's expanded to the point where people are forgetting that nutrition and exercise is the one true key to good health.

- SecondCherry, on 07/11/2008, -0/+1Any sort of help would be welcome, even if it only improves things by 10 per cent.
