- dcigguy, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0If this interests you, get a load of this: Loyola University Hospital has become the first hospital in Illinois to use liquid nitrogen to kill pre-cancerous cells in the esophagus. One woman said that 99% of the precancerous cells were gone after the first treatment (the article said it takes an average of 2-3 sessions for all of the abnormal tissue to be destroyed).
