PowerColor Radeon X1950 XTX 512MB HDCP Preview
mvktech.net — With a redesign of their R580 core, they have now the weapon to go up against the GeForce 7950 GX2 with their Radeon X1950 XTX video card. Currently ATI required a redesign of their high-end GPU to enable the support for the GDDR4 memory chips and unlock the full potential of their optimized R580+ chip.

- ChristTheGreat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice review, but I'm very disappointed of this card. I saw a test with 7950gx2 and 7900GTX (+ SLI) running on a xE6800, and on almost all games, the 7950gx2 win, or the 7900GTX SLI (and still with the AA and AF).
ATI have very good cards, but should stop always introducing a new one and a new series. They should work on Crossfire...
The GDDR4 doesn't affect that much the new performance. On the test I saw, it has from 2 to 7 frame per second more than the Radeon x1900XTX.
And this is driving me crazy, since nVidia will drop their price soon, and I bought 2x 7600GT that will cost like 60$ less (Well, it might be true but I don't care loll)
Well, very nice review. You did a very nice job mate. - Mavke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks! Price drops are coming from ATI as well as the Radeon X1950 XTX will only cost about $449. ;)
