People old enough to bother reading that mag don't even own computers.
Or perhaps they happen across it in the doctor's office (3 months after publication)
I don't even know why they bother having a website. - nsundeepreddy, on 06/21/2008, -3/+2I am fed up with these lists. Do this, be that, understand the problem... get the perfect relationship.
I dont see much in this article... its all about not fighting over silly stuff... where does it talk about actual conflicts and problem solving? ... in "Relationship for Dummies?"- glinsvad, on 06/21/2008, -0/+4This is Digg. Such links aren't submitted so that others users may browse them; they are submitted so that we may all frown upon them and scotch them with our infuriated comments in these fora. Long live Digg!
- notquitegone, on 06/21/2008, -0/+5My girlfriend and I broke up yesterday. We fought too much -- three years of my life down the drain. I probably should have read this list.

Rule of thumb from our systems administrator:
When your system is all screwed up to the point of a pending BSOD, you'r better off doing a fresh reinstall (preferably with another type of OS).
By analogy:
system -> relationship
BSOD -> breakup
reinstall -> you all know what I'm talking 'bout
OS -> girl - vagrantradio, on 06/21/2008, -0/+1Could you make a chart, I didn't get it.
- Yelpingmom3, on 06/21/2008, -1/+0 A couple suffers with difficulty communicating for three years? That is very painful for both of you. Dealing with conflict is a skill that can be learned, just like programming. People think it should come naturally, but that is not usually the case and it causes breakups all the time.

- deanoplex, on 06/21/2008, -0/+2I would love to have a wife, if she lived some where else.
- diggdong, on 06/21/2008, -0/+2I didn't see angry sex on the list. Clearly this list is incomplete and should be discarded. The author take a lesson for a good F in the A. And another thing guns don't kill people fuking people with no empathy die from wounds received from people with too much love. Piss for your taco?
- Yelpingmom3, on 06/21/2008, -0/+0Please! When people argue they are neither calm enough to listen to each other, nor thinking rationally. The first step is to get some space, calm down and decide to listen to each other though you know you won't like what you hear. The approach in this article is best tried with a counselor in the room. After all, doesn't the average human being have difficulty listening when they become tense, feel hurt and believe they are suddenly in a position that feels as if they have no control?
