- rightwingattila, on 07/23/2008, -1/+5I have to admit that Jack's breakfast is one of my evil pleasures but I don't indulge often. Maybe once a month before a visit to the beach and then I swim for several hours and work it off! As a famous TV crime cop always said, "Don't eat the croissant if you can't work it off."

"A haffa sang-wich." — Joe Viterelli ("Jelly") in Harold Ramis's 1999 ANALYZE THIS - drachemorder, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3I have to confess I've never eaten at a Jack's. For one thing, they don't have 'em in the South. For another, if I travel somewhere that does have one, I'm usually on an expense account, which means I don't have to settle for crappy fast food in the first place.

- errorunknown, on 07/23/2008, -0/+4You should get 25% of your daily calories from breakfast. As long as you exercise or run everyday you'll be fine. Food is not the problem, it's the lack of exercise.
- drachemorder, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Yeah, but it really helps if that breakfast is something like grits or oatmeal rather than bacon grease.
From my point of view breakfast is the easiest place to eat healthier (as opposed to, say, lunch, where I absolutely HAVE to get away from the office for a while), but that's probably just my style.

- Quake120, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I challenged a co-worker once to go a month without eating a single bite of any fast food. We did it! I'll tell you, I felt a lot better at the end of the month. You don't realize how bad fast food makes you feel until you haven't eaten it in a long time.
I'd suggest everybody try going at least a month without eating any. It's worth it.
