      I've ran two cycles thus far of Testosterone Enanthate, and have had very little problems. Yes damaged sperm and shrunken testicles are possible sides, but both reverse when you stop taking the steroid. The smaller testicles are a result of your testies not producing their own testosterone because of the external source. Once your steroid levels go back to normal, your body will pick up the slack again. Just think about it this way, your penis will look relatively bigger with smaller testicles.

      Again, yes there are lots of possible side effects, which is why it's a good idea to go see your doctor and get your glucose and cholesterol levels checked, to make sure that it's safe. Failure to do so can result in a stroke. Many of the smaller side effects can be managed, and it's important to have selective estrogen reception modulators and aromatase inhibitors to help reduce the amount of testosterone that gets converted to estrogen. Also, a good thing to have on hand is accutane. Accutane will do very well at managing your acne, and in some cases can prevent acne all together

      Also, this is a case of steroid abuse. This is for people who take extreme doses (a common dose is 500mg/week Test E) and know little about what they are doing.

      Obviously there are risks with steroid use, just as there are benefits. If you are smart, you can try to minimize your risks and maximize your benefits, just like with anything else. But this isn't "graphic evidence against steroid abuse" any more than the WTC rubble was graphic evidence against flying in planes (or going into skyscrapers).

Yes, they will artificially plump your muscles 4x faster then not using roids, but, you can't use them forever and once you stop, your physique is gone in a couple of months. One that could of taken many years to get.

        Some of the physique goes away when you stop using them. But it doesn't all go away if you know what you're doing. And a Post Cycle Treatment (PCT) would prevent all of what happened to this guy that didn't understand steroids properly.

        i agree totally with your assertion here, and i'd like to add some.

        the key word here is "ABUSE", that means "too much".

        there is no good or bad/evil in the universe.
        there is only balance of energy in it's many forms.

        guns and bullets are not bad, it's possible to hold a loaded gun in your hand without catching a disease.
        it's pointing it at a anything and pulling the trigger that causes immense pressure in a short time, usually resulting in what we call "damage".
        the same principle applies to knives.
        the mechanism of how a small particle can cause so much damage is something spaceship engineers know too well.

        planes are not evil just because one crashes, it's better to LEARN from a mistake
        otherwise if anything resulted in an "undesired consequence" then we'd never evolve through learning to overcome the mistakes so we can enjoy the desired outcome and discover "truth".

        money is not evil.
        the human behavior of "greed" is not good because of the way it means an imbalance at the expense of something/someone else.

        just because someone does "too much" (abuses) a drug and suffers the consequences, does that mean it must be "bad" for everyone to the extent it's criminalized?
        "drugs" aren't "harmful/deadly" unless you do "too much/abuse" them, as long as you are aware of your body chemistry and desired outcomes you will survive.

        even an energy form known as a "poison" is only considered "deadly" because of it's concentration.
        yet, taken in a such a small dose that your body can tolerate it is an example that the labeling of the energy form as "deadly" is a fallacy, it's simply a matter of the balance of energy between your body and the external world you wish to interact with.
        the proof is in the body's ability to balance these external energies and develop/evolve immunity to them.

        if drugs are considered bad then why aren't we closing hospitals all over the world?
        what do people who believe "drugs are bad", do when they need medical help? do they suffer for their beliefs and martyr themselves?

        the propaganda about drugs being blanketed as "bad" is to scare people into being productive members of a controlled culture headed by people who decide what you can & can not enjoy.

        the scientific truth is that "drugs" are an everyday part of of your life and a necessary way to live.
        seriously, who's idea was it that some energy forms should be banned and classed as "unnatural"?

        everything in this universe is "natural", you getting hit by a train and dying is a perfectly natural example of what to expect of you don't keep clear of the train tracks, physics in action right there people.

        man-made or not, everything is a " natural process".

        sharing information (itself a pattern of energy assigned a meaning) in this age called "p2p" is called bad, yet the internet and all it's uses by very definition means to exchange data "peer to peer". sometimes those peers are the nodes at the end, like you and me, sometimes those peers are the nodes in between.

        you brain releases chemicals that are considered "drugs" and you need them in hospitals to "fix" problems to continue to live.

        the propaganda is talking about "illegal" drugs, and even then it's what the "law" considers bad for it's workers (citizens).
        just because it's "law" does not mean it's "bad/evil".

        make your own decisions of what you want for your life and the future you want to live in.
        make your own standards and stop living someone else's.

        learn to evolve.

      Steroids are not "bad." Steroids like ANYTHING else can be bad if mis-used.

      Steroids aren't magical, with good training and diet, you get good results, and WHEN YOU KEEP YOUR DIET AND YOUR TRAINING up, you will maintain most of the gains.

      If you lose your results when you come off your diet is not good. Remember a lot of people that use steroids are ***** idiots and shouldn't be allowed to use them.

His friend did a cycle of steroids and stopped using them cold turkey. Since his body stopped making testosterone it had none when he stopped it so fast (as it was being artificially introduced, in excess) He had so much estrogen (created to balance out with his t levels) in his body that he would cry at the slightest thing. The worst was that he cried watching a McDonalds commercial because he was so touched by it... emotionally....

      I've never done an actual steroid (just a very mild pro-hormone), but I've seen tons and tons of successful steroid stories. The key is to have a well researched and developed recovery and support plan to keep you healthy while on, and to maintain while cycling off, and to also promote natural production of testosterone etc when you're off the cycle.

      I do however think that steroids should be illegal without proper doctor prescription and education (they already are, but you can still buy a little of stuff at GNC that is just as dangerous). But, if one has recovery stuff (ie, nolvadex) and is being monitored by a doctor - why not?

      Isn't this what we, as humans, kind of want? To become super?

This person obviously had no idea what he was doing and just as with anything misuse of a substance can mess things up. This is a prime case of *ignorance* messing someone's life (and body) up.

      The only problems I really see with why I'd never want to try steroids are a.) it costs a lot of money, b.) you have to diet really well or you won't see good results, c.) you have to train for several hours a day to see good results, and d.) once you're done you'll never see the same results while off steroids... would make you wanna try again which you can't really do because you need to cycle.

      But I'm not against anyone using the stuff properly.

      PS I'm calling ***** on this article anyone who knows anything about steroids knows testicles DO NOT shrink while on gear.

Also, if his face looks anything like his chest (acne has a way of popping up on the face), his chances of finding a date are slim at best. This has probably had a negative effect on his overall health and as a result he will probably have a shorter lifespan. However, if you don't consider my use of the term loosely you are correct, he wouldn't technically quality for a Darwin Award. But he still comes pretty darn close.. :)

This damage ranges in severity, but has resulted in sterility in a non-trivial percentage of cases. I think most people would consider that rendering themselves irreversibly sterile at 20 years old is probably more important than the actual size issue.

      If they lied about picture A, was this guy's condition really due to steroids, or is it even real?

        The body adapts quickly, and Steroids are not a normal state, so the body goes back to normal. I've seen it happen. The B picture is him after he has gained weight, because you can still see the muscle, the C picture is him with the weight and less muscle (There is still a bit there, but it's covered up).

        Every month you don't work out, you lose 50% of your muscle? On what planet? Quite the opposite happens. You keep almost all of your muscle and gain fat. Why? You stop wasting you calories on exercise.

        It takes about 2 weeks of not working out before ANYTHING happens to your muscle. After two weeks they begin to atrophy, but it is a very slow process.

        Even with steroids, the body's transformation isn't NEARLY as dramatic as the pictures. In this case, it looks like he would have gone from 3% body fat to about 20%+ body fat. It would also entail losing about 40 lbs of muscles as well. This is simply not possible.

I'm not a steroid user, but I believe outside of professional sports, people should be able to get them with the appropriate knowledge to take them safely, and legally. And actually, they can... another misconception is that they are outright illegal. They're controlled, meaning if you go the right doctor, you can get them still.
