New pancreases created from stem cells
yomiuri.co.jp — A group of researchers from the Institute of Medical Science at Tokyo University has succeeded in creating mouse pancreases with the use of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells, opening the door for a significant advance in regenerative medicine.

- purplesky1000, on 09/05/2008, -0/+1I expect this would open the door for all kinds of transplant surgeries eventually leading to all anti-rejection drugs being obsolete. Very cool, especially considering anti-rejection drugs don't always work.
