'Pregnant man' Thomas Beatie gives birth to baby girl

timesonline.co.uk — The pregnant man who conceived a child after a gender-reassignment operation has apparently given birth to a healthy baby girl. “She’s really cute, really pretty,” a source told ABC News.

        i think folks ought to be able to do whatever they want to do. if it doesn't affect my ability to pay my house taxes i could care less.

        this transgender disgust thing is trumped up. i don't see people losin their ***** mind these days over plastic surgery when a perfectly finely proportioned girl gets matched zepplins so she can feel better about herself, or if someone gets penis enlargement surgery so they can feel better about themselves because having a big dick makes the world go around apparently. we're all different and we have our own experience and our needs. you would like to be a father or a mother to a child, as i would, i want children. this "new male" and his partner want a child.

        i bet they want that child so they can drop something into the gene pool that has a better concept of live and let live than all the haters that posted on this board this morning.

I'm sure that if they could, some men would choose to give birth, but they can't. Goes with being a man. So in order to have a truly male experience, eliminating your ability to give birth would be a start.

    By this person's logic, I could wear black makeup and call myself black. I'm sure I'd even have experiences which would give me insight into what it is to be black, but I wouldn't BE black. I could take off the makeup and go back to being white. That's different from being black. Just as giving birth is different from being a man.
