This isn't so much an OPTICAL illusion as it is a MENTAL illusion
news.com.au — Which way is this dancer spinning? Can you get it to switch directions? It's like a switch in your brain is being flicked when you get it...

- Corrosionx, on 11/13/2007, -0/+1Holy hell, I saw both but it's hard to control.
- doublehead, on 11/13/2007, -0/+1I finally got to see her moving counter clockwise thanks to the link in the comments.
- Evenstar75, on 11/13/2007, -0/+0When I first saw this, I saw her spinning counter-clockwise. I read the notes, made the mental shift to get her to spin clockwise, then couldn't for the life of me get her to switch back again. Thanks for bringing her back to my attention so I could finally get her to reverse at will (though she still persistently goes back to clockwise when I'm not paying attention for me).
- PeppermintPig, on 11/13/2007, -0/+1My mind kept switching it every 30 seconds or so, then I was able to flip the perception at will at half rotation back and forth. Funky!
- adrian67, on 11/13/2007, -0/+1Yep, thanks to the link above I could see her moving either way - brilliant.
- Skooma714, on 11/14/2007, -0/+1Saw it on CivFanatics a few months ago. I can switch it at will.
- verycoolwinter, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1Lace your fingers together...which thumb is on top? The thumb on top will tell you which side of the brain you tend to use. My right thumb is always on top...I am right-brained.
- erikerikerik, on 03/05/2008, -0/+1interesting, something about my dyslexic brain must allow me switch it at will when ever I like.
