64 Studio Review
server.ericsbinaryworld.com — This month, in Linux Format Magazine, 64 Studio was bundled on the disc. It doesn ’t run as a liveCD or liveDVD so I’m running it in VirtualBox. As you can see here, it is a Debian-based distro.

- dreamszz, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1Review says difference between this and plain Debian isn't visible. Also Ubuntu Studio, aimed at audio and video manipulation can be worth while.
- DestroyFascism, on 08/22/2008, -0/+3I tried this and considering it is an EU funded project, (Or was last time I checked) I was hoping for more. Its very smooth and makes good use of the CPU and memory. Ubuntu studio is more polished, better supported and has an awesome well detailed theme.
- schestowitz, on 08/22/2008, -5/+1it's more about the underlying software, not the theme and stuff. What the projects' trunk.
- polyp2000, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1Some of the problems he cites could well be down to the fact that he's running it under virtual-box.
I think it might have been a bit fairer to review the distro on an actual machine rather than a virtual one.
After all I doubt anyone thinking of doing any serious multimedia work would be doing it in a VM that'd just plain silly!
