- djphatjive, on 10/09/2008, -9/+2I am really hoping that he will create another company and make a new totally different operating system to compete with windows and OSx and linux. That would be cool. I mean that is what Steve Jobs did and now look at his next system. It was the foundation for the new Mac OS.
- FizzanoMatrix, on 10/09/2008, -5/+1Most of them aren't aware of kernel syncing with the SDRAM anyways.

NO1CURR - nitsnipe, on 10/09/2008, -5/+4Come on enough with all this crap. Look it's as much about the user as it is about the OS. Over the years I've gotten to use (personally and as part of my job) UNIX, DOS, FreeBSD, Linux, Windows 3.1 to Vista, System 7 to Leopard and that's the one most important thing I've learned. It's about the user. A veteran linux geek can be very productive and do everything he needs using just the linux command line, no GUI. I've even met people who still use DOSand they seem satisfied with it. Just use what you're most comfortable with and don't try to boast and forcibly push your preferences among other. You can introduce other people to alternatives and help them out but that's about it because any more and you start to get religious about it.
Also there was a time when CPU's were just a couple of Mhz and memory was measured in kilobytes, yet people were still doing graphic design and professional publishing with their computers. Today computers are at least 1000 times faster. Are we all 1000times more productive? - BloodyRids, on 10/09/2008, -4/+2SPAM
