Google Chrome does not work in Wine
appdb.winehq.org — The first public beta of Google's new Chrome browser is only available for Windows. Don't bother trying it in Wine though - it doesn't work. Guess we'll just have to wait until a Linux version is available.

More importantly, that test was with wine 1.0, which is 1 and a half months old! (Very old by wine's standards) - kageurufu, on 09/03/2008, -0/+1I tried it in the latest developer's release of Wine, and got the same problems
Failed to install, offline installer kinda worked, and if forced to install the address bar does not work and pages will not load - nightman, on 09/03/2008, -0/+3It worked for me with http://gpdl.google.com/chrome/install/149.27/chrom ... installer and "winetricks riched20 riched30" trick. However pages still do not load.
