Mandriva Linux 2008 Spring released
club.mandriva.com — Mandriva's latest distribution, Mandriva Linux 2008 Spring, is now available. This new release brings features like full support for the Asus Eee, easy synchronization with Windows Mobile, Blackberry, and Nokia devices, a new parental control utility, the Elisa multimedia center, Codeina for easy installation of necessary media codecs, and more!

- darkchild, on 04/09/2008, -0/+5Looks pretty slick so far and I like the idea of the wallpaper that changes with time (yeah I know Fedora were first to it, but its cool anyway). I also like how Mandriva seems to be engaging with the community these days. Everyone gets the release at the same time instead of just paying customers.

I think for me the most interesting part of the new version is the new parental control tool. It will be just great for our other computer which is mostly used by our children. Kudos to Mandriva for another high quality release!
