Ubuntu 8.10 Beta Released

- DriXiLB, on 10/03/2008, -3/+0Starcraft is an old game so it probably works fine. You can also run most new games, but only at like 80% FPS (if you're lucky), and with some or several graphical glitches.
- weizbox, on 10/03/2008, -0/+3Why would a person NEED to run windows apps? It all depends on what the user wants/needs. For some things, yes, you would NEED to run Windows (or least run it inside of VMware/VirtualBox,etc), but you can say the same thing on the Linux side, and the NEED to have certain Linux apps that are not available for Windows.
