Authentic Stormtrooper Suits - $2400
firebox.com — Shepperton studios, which made the originals for Lucasfilm, is now selling them to the public. These are complete suits exactly like the ones worn in the movies. The helmet is made from the original 1976 movie mold, so it is 100% authentic. Blaster not included.

- cody50, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20I wish they had snowtrooper outfits too. I always liked those better, idk why. I would wear it snowboarding.
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8LOL, that would make a great video.
- gridbread, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I liked the Scout Trooper from the speeder bike scenes in Return of the Jedi.
- AnalystX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I'm a big fan of the Imperial pilots myself. The pilots always seemed a little less disposable than the stormtroopers. I've also heard they have excellent game console skills.
- TheBEAST205, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No way, Dark Troopers all the way! They are deffinately the most bad ass, the jet packs make it a complete give a way.
- kp3469, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22is it wrong that i'm seriously considering buying one of these?
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20nah man, all the chicks digg Stromtroopers. ;)
(not the ones from this planet but somewhere) - mrivorey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8If anyone buys, make sure you contact the 501st Legion and join up!
http://www.501st.com/index.php - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, organization and discipline were always the Empire's strong points. The terran Jedi order, on the other hand, seems to have "let themselves go" quite a bit:

A somewhat sad-looking group of Jedi. I think we're going to have to implement an improved physical training regimen of some kind.
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20nah man, all the chicks digg Stromtroopers. ;)
- vsujohn2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I never understood the point of these in the movies, they get shot with them anywhere and still die. They could have built a better death star and had people running around naked...endor wouldnt have known what hit them
- cyberdash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10True that. I suppose that the real reason that they wear them is so that you don't see the same extra fighting Luke four scenes in a row.
- connizzle, on 10/12/2007, -13/+0It is wrong in considering buying one since it costs $2400.
- JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Wooow ! So classious, I wish I had $2400 to throw by the window to buy this. I would go to school and to clubs with it !
- trickrick1985, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Stormtroppers are rare in that they represent evil but wear white. Uncommon in movies or literature
- spamzor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It depends what side you look at it from...
- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@ spamzor: but they are called the "dark side"
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"@ spamzor: but they are called the "dark side""
No, they're not called that. The Dark Side is the use of the Force for destruction and selfish purposes. Stormtroopers don't use the Force for anything, they follow orders and use standard military tactics and equipment. - TheBEAST205, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Actually Storm Troopers adapted their white armor from the old Clone Army. They didn't use a camoflague armor because they were fearless, so basically it meant they wouldn't try to hide from the enemy and they'd just fight them straight up.
- carpespasm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1which is why they always got shot down
- Grimdotdotdot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I'm too tall to wear one of these =[
It would be awesome to go out clubbing as a Storm Trooper...- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4if your idea of awesome is getting punched in the plastic mold groin cup repeatedly.
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's much more likely to happen if you went around dressed as a Jedi or as Gandalf. The ladies seem to like stormtroopers. I guess it's the whole uniform and S&M aspect.

- ohemgeee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Yeah.. nice advert for firebox.com.. should be marked as spam.
How about buying it direct from the company making these for £300 ($600) less.
http://www.sdsprops.com/armour-intro.htm- DavidForster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4 ** Please note Battle Spec Helmet sold separately. ** - Price £295 + shipping
Firebox includes the helmet - That's where the £300 went :)
- DavidForster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4 ** Please note Battle Spec Helmet sold separately. ** - Price £295 + shipping
- activeyaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You don't even get the blaster included at that Firebox price!
- xJudahx, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Thanks, but no thanks. I'd like to get laid by someone except those 2 ugly chicks in any senior level comp sci class, or even worse, those dorks that sit in the back and talk about WoW all day. I'm assuming they are gay since I've never seen them talking to a woman. They spend friday nights playing video games, losers. I'll take that $2400 and spend it on clothes and booze and chicks. If you can't get one, don't worry, you could most likely buy a couple for that much.
- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"I'm assuming they are gay since I've never seen them talking to a woman"
wow (or should i say WoW), you're a real winner. - dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2@xJudahx:
Just because you couldn't even get a blind hooker to sleep with you doesn't mean us nerds don't get laid. Next time you get an urge to post something stupid like that, just find your masterbation tweezers (you obivously need them) and jack off instead.
That said, I'm several inches too tall for the suit, maybe I should see if I can get an accurate Chewie suit. - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@xJudahx
Yeah, when you grow up, one of those kids will be your boss.
- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"I'm assuming they are gay since I've never seen them talking to a woman"
- n3r0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3kinda reminds me of the tron guy....gasp...unitard...
- apapitrat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32400 dollars and no shoes ???? (look at the running shoes the guy is wearing with the suit... a bit anachronic if you ask me)
- kuromimi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For that much, can I at least get a tour of the Death Star??
- ross., on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Like you'd ever fit a Star Wars fan into one of those tiny things...
- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Cool, but really old news, when i was a little star wars nerd and read star wars insider magazine (in the early 90's) they had ads for these stormtrooper suits. as i remember they were about $2500, but im not sure what the brand was.
- misterpony, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Not old news...RTFA, these are cast from the original molds.
- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5ORIGINAL MOLDS!1!1! [Peeeee]
- dcipjr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Making rival replica outfits seem about as convincing as Hayden Christensen's acting, these armour/helmet combos are the most accurate reproductions of the originals ever produced."
I love it!- dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's brilliant isn't it!
Put your hands up if you think it was a terrible descision to use Hayden Cristensen as the Ghost of Vader at the end of the revamped Return of the Jedi? I would have prefered to see an ewok take the role.
- dacheetah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's brilliant isn't it!
- Punisher2K, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wouldn't authentic stormtrooper uniforms be German?
- TheBEAST205, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Haha, lol.
- nthdork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Scout Troopers FTW!
Storm Troopers are just ok. - airship, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Do they have these in geek sizes? Like 4XL Tall?
- carpespasm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"aren't you a little round to be a storm trooper?"
- Chewie67, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3These are nice and all, but my favorite version is this one:
http://www.sithvixen.com/starwars/femtrooper/femtrooper_ajc001.jpg - Amnesia10, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2While I would definitely want one I would also want a Darth Vader suit as well to frighten the neigbours.
- Yoda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If your neighbours aren't going to be frightened by a grown man running around in a 70's movie costume, then stepping up to a Darth Vader suit probably isn't going to be the difference maker you think it will.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the man in black so I appreciate the sentiment... I'm just saying that if people in Storm Trooper suits are "normal" in your neighbourhood, you may want to consider relocating. - OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3You mean, dressed like this?

- TheBEAST205, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For some reason I really want to have buttsechs in a Storm Trooper suit.
- crossers, on 07/19/2008, -1/+0nice, but I don't want to have buttsechs in a Stormtrooper suit.
