Even allowing for departmental style information silo's. Therefore his friends, as wonderful a buddies as any clone based storm trooper could find had to accept the possibility of their life being put at risk of attack.

      Besides Alderan was a great place to go for the summer....

Traveling with them are two droids (R2-D2 and C3PO) one of which contains confidential documents. The storm troopers stopped Luke and Obi Won looking for those two droids. Obi-Won used a Jedi mind trick and convinced the Stormtrooper that these were different droids and that they should be free to go.

        Other commanders would move in to seize power and fill the vacuum, the remaining battle forces would be more than enough to blockade and pummel any planet into submission.

Look at how the rebel force grew from the first movie to the last, the first movie they had a few dozen fighters and in the last movie they had an entire armada.

      however, i will also give credit to jaybuster for stealing the photo, doing a crappy paint job to remove my friend's signature, and also adding a dumb and random "joke" (if you can even call it that) to blemish the otherwise perfect on its own photo.
