        So it's like everyone is playing chess with Batman, and he has the capacity to think further ahead than his opponents. That and a billion dollars worth of cool gadgets allows you to beat literally everyone.

      They were going to do a Batman VS Superman movie a few years ago, and that would have been awful. But a Batman VS Iron Man... would be awful too, but I like the idea of it.

        As far as Bats vs. Iron Man, if he could somehow blind Iron Man's censors the same way Iron Man ***** up Stane's, then he would kill his guidance system. Beyond that, if he somehow rendered Iron Man unable to control his suit, then Iron Man would in fact be trapped in a big Iron tomb.

        I'm not saying it wouldn't big a big fight, I'm just saying Batman has the same resources as Stark with slightly better strategy.

          I'm pretty sure that if Iron Man can take a tank shell, he can take a batarang.

            If Batman needed to, he could detonate a nuke in orbit to EMP Iron Man into submission. And if that WERE what it would take to stop him, then he would already have the nuke in orbit, just in case he ever had to fight Iron Man.

            They did a great Justice League story about this: Ra's al Ghul got access to Batman's contingency plans for if the JLA ever went sour and ran his entire playbook. It was quite decisive.

    • jughead789, on 05/04/2008, -7/+1Just to clarify it's not the darker tone I loved the darker way they went it was more the way they changed a lot of the origins of Batman and the fact that they didn't use a classic Batman villain as the main antagonist (not counting scarecrow as he was only a secondary villain). I thought it was a great way to rebirth the series but I wish they had stayed a little closer to Batmans origins and used a better villain, which again is why I'm looking forward to the dark knight, and seeing the darker side of the joker we've only seen a few times.

He was just a drug smuggling crime lord. They took an awesome chracter of the scarecrow and made him a chump that was a sidestory. Worst of all they still neglected the fact that Batman is an amazing detective and a genius, they made him nothing more than a capable fighter with gadgets.

  • initialize, on 05/05/2008, -2/+0The Dark Knight is probably going to be a lot better than Iron Man. The problem with Marvel movies is that they have really corny boss fights at the end; take Iron Man, Spider-Man, and the Hulk for example. Just a big CGI fest.
