- Howtobefreaky, on 07/09/2008, -1/+35Brad Pitt has done some absolutely great and original roles. I'd love to see what Tarantino could do with him.
- mtg7722, on 07/09/2008, -0/+6this could be very interesting. in a good way that is :)
- ZGambit, on 07/09/2008, -0/+6Love the idea of it...
Do you think it would be as good as the Brad Pitt in Fight Club?
None the less I am excited =D - bmph8ter, on 07/09/2008, -4/+1I
- DjOverEZ, on 07/09/2008, -2/+13I like English Muffins!
- Vezran, on 07/09/2008, -3/+3He and Tarantino have worked together before. He played an excellent stoner in True Romance. He's definitely shown his credibility as an actor since then. I could see him getting all sorts of best actor nods for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button come 2009. That ***** looks positively radiant.
- awtripp, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2Tarantino didn't have anything to do with making that movie other than writing the original script (which he sold to finance Reservoir Dogs), in fact it doesn't even have Tarantino's intended ending. That and almost all of Brad Pitt's lines he made up himself -- the special edition True Romance DVD has an interview with him about the role, and the interaction with Michael Rapaport's character , which is pretty funny.
**spoiler** (kind of)
To quote Tarantino "in my world, Clarence is dead."

- roseboom, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1I could definitely see that happening, but I bet he wont have a major role in it though. Pitt will probably be a supporting character like was in Babel.
- nutniqs, on 07/09/2008, -3/+2This is all rabble. The only actor that has made this project interesting since it's been on the rumor mill for years is Eddie Murphy...
- WhoDoneIt, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1Yeah, because Eddie could play EVERY part in the movie and save them tons of cash.
*****, they could even make moulds of Pitt's head and put it on Eddie, who needs anyone but Eddie these days.
/sarcasm - nutsackorama, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0Are you kidding? Or do you at least mean interesting as in "how bad will it be"?

- Bagrad, on 07/09/2008, -0/+8I watched Snatch the other day...man he knows how to act.
- Falldog, on 07/09/2008, -3/+4It sounds like an interesting story, and that Pitt would be a good fit, but I really don't care for Tarantino. *prepares to be buried*
- girldrinkdrunk, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1I loved the original movie. They showed it on HBO quite a bit in the early '80s.
"THEY'RE AMERICANS!!!!!" - solboldi, on 07/09/2008, -8/+4More plagiarism from Tarantino. I wonder what movies he will rip off this time?
- pootpoot, on 07/09/2008, -2/+0inb4 "nawww man it was an homage! an homage!!!"
- LordStandley, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7Tarantino is a bad mutha *****. If you call it ripping off, then he rips off really really well. Even if he is copying source material in certain scenes, he's still making incredible films, not incredible scenes.
- h0ser, on 07/09/2008, -6/+1I think you are all crazy for liking this guy, he's a horrible actor. The only time he was decent is in that short scene in Seven when he found his wife's head, even then he wasn't that great. Stop focusing on his good looks.
- roseboom, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0He has some real ***** roles before no doubt but has had some good performance besides in seven. Such as twelve monkeys, fight club, snatch, and babel.
- brijazz, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1There is no bigger Tarantino fan than I. Even I can acknowledge that he does not always use purely original material. He's more like a master at synthesizing his influences into something wholly unique. Much like a master chef, he doesn't grow the ingredients, but combines them into something of his own design.
- chokeaduck, on 07/09/2008, -0/+4Finally a new QT movie, it's been like 5 years since Kill Bill. Or feels like it, at least. I'm still waiting for The Whole Bloody Affair though, where he edits Pt. 1 and 2 together into one cohesive movie, like he was originally going to.
- zionKing, on 07/09/2008, -2/+3I find it a little arrogant that Tarantino nicknamed his ass cheeks "Inglorious Bastards"
- hakluytbean, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2Well, I logged in just to digg one or two other things then saw this story which hardly anyone is interested in and thought I'd share my pain at not being able to enjoy movies with historical themes where those movies piss over the history by pointing out that it was actually Europeans who fought in small groups behind enemy lines in WWII, not Americans. Thx! (I feel a bit better now).
- LordStandley, on 07/10/2008, -0/+2I am jacks excitement for this news!
- AddiX, on 07/10/2008, -0/+0Doesnt this guy have a kid or two to take care of?
