- lindsay4767, on 07/04/2008, -23/+2I was about to digg this, then I noticed MrBabyMan just changed his picture. Buried for Babyman.
- Sornos, on 07/05/2008, -2/+7Why? It's the story not the story teller.
- Cenobite, on 07/05/2008, -1/+5Burying something as awesome as this purely because of your deep seated hatred for the person who happened to submit it is completely indefensible.
I'm no fan of MrBabyMan, but this line of reasoning is pure, uncut *****.
- samanathon, on 07/05/2008, -8/+2I love this concept! It's really creative and refreshing (not to mention fun)!! I'll be subscribing to this feed for sure!
- Mickeh65, on 07/05/2008, -2/+13"Microsoft Condoms - No, we don't have any idea what they are either."
- Archer007, on 07/05/2008, -1/+21Love the Lost Dharma Initiative poster.
- jerryterhorst, on 07/05/2008, -3/+7"We made dinosaurs. Imagine what we could make for you."
haha, brilliant. - Citronella, on 07/05/2008, -3/+0Hope Mark Wahlberg was a better rapper than an actor, I couldn't sit through the whole of the Happening
- Rizmaster, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1The fact that you don't know is both awesome and terrifying.
- TheWriteGuy, on 07/05/2008, -1/+4Weyland-Yutani?
- TheBuz, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Yeah man, where's the Weyland-Yutani advertisement? What the ***** gives?
- giantman, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0GIve us some time, at one a week the ideas are gonna take some time to work our way through.
- TheBuz, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Yeah man, where's the Weyland-Yutani advertisement? What the ***** gives?
- asupaha, on 07/05/2008, -5/+0MrBabyMan has moved to http://you.presscue.com/
- robotto, on 07/05/2008, -1/+18Shamalamadingdong is the best one
- LegoLooney27, on 07/05/2008, -1/+6That's what she said...
- mrjofo, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1It strayed from the format though. They were supposed to be ads for fictional companies not fictional movies.
- modena, on 07/05/2008, -1/+10The Tyrell Corporation slogan should've been "More human than human."
- killerkabuki, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2Yeah, this movie poster is a complete fail, unfortunately. The others are good though. And the WriteGuy is rwight. Weyland....The Company... from the Alien movies should be there
- Trax91, on 07/05/2008, -1/+5What about Omni Consumer Products (OCP) from RoboCop? They sound like a good company to make a fictional advertisement.
- Enron, on 07/05/2008, -0/+2I also found this submission to be extremely lacking in that respect. No OCP, no digg.
- Unnis, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1One of the Robocop TV series included fake advertisements within the show itself. For example, if you don't have money to give to the squeegee panhandlers, you can give them food (which is loaded with tranquilizers to put them asleep.) There were also advertisements for lottery tickets and cereals as well.
There isn't as much purpose creating a fake ad if the producers of the show do the same.
- FoolsRun, on 07/05/2008, -1/+3I clicked thinking "there's no way they'll do a Yoyodyne ad", and then there it was, complete with correct slogan. Awesome.
- reddikilowatt, on 07/05/2008, -2/+3Vandelay Industries:
http://www.tshirtbordello.com/Shirts/c1/p371/Vande ... - iJessicaRabbit, on 07/05/2008, -1/+2wow, I love the Benthic Petroleum poster. It's so eerie looking
- doctorinfierno, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Very cool. Poe's poster was cool but it was kinda different from the others, I'd watch that movie.
- inio, on 07/05/2008, -1/+2Lame. These are just an ad agency using other people's ideas to advertise themselves.
http://giantideasblog.blogspot.com/search/label/ge ...- giantman, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0Inio - We are an ad agency certainly and we have been honest about that from the beginning, but that doesn't make us any less geeky than anyone else. We're doing this series purely for fun.
- LordSkywalker, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1The Tyrell Corp. ad has a disclaimer at the bottom-left. It shouldn't say "...result in the immediate destruction of the offending Replicant." The term used instead of destruction is "retire" or "retirement".
- giantman, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0LordSkywalker - Good catch on the Tyrell ad, I apologize I missed that one.
- TheBuz, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1Although the InGen poster, Cyberdine, and Tyrell posters are all rad, I can't digg it because of the absence of OCP, and Weyland-Yutani, or even and ad for a Recall Center (total recall).
- giantman, on 07/06/2008, -0/+0Buz - We have a very long list of ads to do and all the ones you mentioned are on the list. We do a new one each week, so eventually we'll get around to them.
- TheBuz, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1You just made me a happy man.
- giantman, on 07/13/2008, -0/+0yeah!
