It's not being debated whether or not the ice caps are melting, that is a fact. What is debated about is whether or not greenhouse gases, specifically the ones we are putting out, are causing it. If the movie poses the idea that we're responsible for it, then deal with it. A lot of people think this way and its not suprising those opinions found themselves into a movie.
