They have a longevity category that Dark Knight can't possibly win yet because it just came out so they default it to the Tim Burton movies. They have a couple categories where they say "Dark Knight could win but we don't know yet" and to me that seems kinda dumb. I don't see this as a fair comparison when the judgement is made on obviously biased guidelines.

    • crazydonat30, on 07/18/2008, -1/+8bale is good, but the voice just kills it for me, sounds like he has emphezema. keatons voice was low and scratchy, but just right. both excellent batmans by the way. and besides, for keaton to be known mainly as a comedic actor (beetlejuice , multiplicity, mr. mom, etc) batman showed how good of an actor he can be. and bale is used to that type of character (dark, mysterious ex: american psycho, machinist, prestige) but like i said, both damn good batmans.

  • kraetos, on 07/18/2008, -4/+2I have to say I was disappointed Ledger never said "have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight." It's one of my favorite lines.

    That was, however, my ONLY disappointment with TDK. It was WAY better than Keaton's Batman, and better than Batman Begins too. Probably the best movie of the year.

    1) Find an IMAX theatre in your area that's showing it

    2) Try to find a show that isn't sold out

    3) RUN, do not walk, and go see it.

    Heath Ledger is so engrossing in this role - some scenes really make you squirm with fear and dread. He is clearly the best part of this film. But that's not all. This is one of the most complex superhero movies I've ever seen. Plot, action, TWISTS - I need to see it a couple of more times to absorb it all.

    It is THE awesome.

Awesome movie, but it was like I was watching it through a fisheye lens which kinda blew. I'm gonna see it again at a normal theatre.

    I forgot how lame Robin was in those two movies. Let's hope they don't include him in the next movie.

Everyone in it should win an Oscar, hands down the best movie ever made in the entire universe. I mean really, be logical here. You don't have to see a movie to know that you're opinion is right and everyone who disagrees is wrong. I go by facts,(also by watching the trailers) and I'm never wrong. THE DARK NIGHT RULEES.

    Also Christian Bales Head piece sucks !! the neck piece in the back of the mask is to long from lower than the shoulder blades to the peak of the back of the head it looks like he wearing a freaking neck brace !

    Plus Bale sucks a Bruce Wayne and his voice as Batman sounds like a pre pubescent teen trying to sound hard by deepening his voice when in front of adults to show that he is mature and can hold his own ! like a dam cold/sore throat that he can't shake !!
