- plbogen, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2I called and their excuse is that "new features" they are working on don't work right with profiles.
- misterh1, on 06/19/2008, -0/+4Fine, scrap the new features. I don't need any new features, I just want profiles and the "Releasing This Week" page.
- plbogen, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2My sentiments exactly.

- mpjohnst, on 06/19/2008, -1/+2There is already a bigger petition here: http://www.petitiononline.com/netflix0/petition.ht ...
Lets keep this consolidated in one place!- needlessbanter, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0While this new petition is on-par with the other petition. This petitions seems to be too abrupt, while the other still gets the point across. Don't worry one way to consolidate petitions... sign them both.
- slevdog, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3Call Netflix 1-888-638-3549 - call now and call often! Mention the B word - Blockbuster.
- needlessbanter, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3I worked for netflix phone staff for a year. They, the phone support staff, don't know anything but what the "higher ups" tell them. One thing that drove the "higher ups" crazy was multiple phone calls about a subject that the phone support was not briefed on. Keep the calls rolling.
- ryansmith18, on 06/20/2008, -1/+1So this guy is kinda hardcore about his profiles. I mean, hey, I'm dissappointed in it too - I really like having a profile set up for the girlfriend so all of her romanic comedies stay out of my queue....but I still think I'd rather have those movies shuffled in with my queue than switch back to Blockbuster. Just not worth it.
AppScout already reported that the company has plans to "find better ways for families to share accounts than the existing profiles feature."- Maskatron, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1"AppScout already reported that the company has plans to "find better ways for families to share accounts than the existing profiles feature.""
It's going to have to be a mind-blowingly creative solution to top having separate profiles for each user.

- slevdog, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2I am the owner of the site, and according to my traffic logs, I have received over 100 hits from several different Netflix-owned IP addresses. Let's keep it coming, they're very aware of our opposition, let's show them how strong we are.
- wesleydumont, on 06/24/2008, -0/+1malarkey on a stick. simple way to make more money at the cost of convenience to customers.
maybe they'll use the extra dough to buy more khaki pants. what a bunch of db's.
I'll resign my account in protest for sure. - slevdog, on 07/01/2008, -0/+2We won! Netflix has announced they are keeping profiles. Good job everyone!
