thanks a lot... you.... you......
arghh.... - darkciti, on 10/11/2007, -15/+6I CAN'T BELIEVE they ruined Citizen Kane. That movie is 99% buildup and 1% cul-de-gras/resolution. That epiphany you have when you realize what Rosebud makes the entire 3 hours seem like "Wow!" - and it change the way you look at the importance of things in life. Many people don't make it through Citizen Kane (my girlfriend can't without falling asleep). It's one of my favorite movies.
- darkciti, on 10/11/2007, -13/+1@fober

- monkeycum, on 10/11/2007, -9/+3I'm still thinking about buying one. I'm surprised Lord of the Rings wasn't mentioned on the shirt in some way. That would have done it for me.

- toxicshok, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Hey dallas was a big show back in the 80s. It was a huge deal when JR was shot. Luckily like most shows in the 80s 3 chest shots is a flesh wound.
- lankybutmacho, on 10/11/2007, -0/+26"That movie is 99% buildup and 1% cul-de-gras/resolution."
If you spoke any French you would realize what a hilarious misspelling "cul-de-gras" is. - sych0, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6you can ruin a spoiler?

- spliznork, on 10/11/2007, -1/+35@darkciti - Citizen Kane? You don't want me to spoil Citizen Kane, a seventy year old movie? There's a statute of limitations on this *****, man. Everyone knows Rosebud is the sled. ... Have you seen The Passion yet? Here's a spoiler for you: Jesus DIES.

actually, if you check the times, fober was first...the comment you linked to actually copied fober...in fact, the person there even gives fober the credit, if you read their follow-up comment. - otatop, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4kravex you dumbass, try reading the comment under the list on the Threadless comments. You know, the one that says "*courtesy 'fober' on digg"
Damn you, Logan42. What are the chances two people would correct someone 2 hours after they posted. - toxicredm, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4The Statue of Liberty saying "It was Earth all along" doesn't make sense. Yes, I know it's Planet of the Apes, but they should have had one of the ape-men saying it instead. That would have made it clearer.
- rasterbator, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2A better one for Dallas would have been:
It was all a dream. - deadlock, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0'Planet of the Apes' was spoiled by the posters anyway (they depicted Charlton Heston bowing his head in defeat in front of the remains of the statue).
- Cwo655321, on 10/11/2007, -10/+76there should be another
- crawfishsoul, on 10/11/2007, -3/+95Goddammit! I haven't seen 300 yet.

/rimshot - JeffreyAtW, on 10/11/2007, -5/+10Well you know. You could have read the comic for years to have found that out.

/fifteen month old son
//just go to the matinée; there are already a milliondy screaming kids in there anyway. Yours won't make a difference - tokyopimp, on 10/11/2007, -4/+58Yeah well when I saw 300, after it was over I watched a group of people with two 2-4 year olds with them walk out of the movie when it was over.
I just shook my head.
I'm not one of these uptight "kids shouldn't see a rated R movie till they are 18" kind of people, but bringing a 3 year old to 300 just seemed absolutely ridiculous to me. - AxeSwinger, on 10/11/2007, -2/+21Guys if you love movies and have a kid, mine is three, find a drive-in. It's great the kid can cry and no one gets upset. It's cheaper, most are double features and you can bring your own snacks. The one in San Jose allowed you to move screens so you could see what you wanted. We took our son when he was two months old and have been going almost weekly since.
- Loyaleagle, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20Or maybe you could actually know the age old myth....that's about as much of a spoiler as "Perseus kills Medusa".....
- doublej42, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11um 300 is based very loosely on real history. Of course they all die.
- monkeycum, on 10/11/2007, -8/+2Wait... You have a three year old and still have money to burn? Get a babysitter.
- Stephiems, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10I was thinking the same thing....did anyone actually go and see this and NOT know that basically they all die? Is the cliffhanger supposed to be that only 299 die and not 300...because that's just stupid.
Most of the advertising for the movie doesn't actually mention that 300 was based on a historical event, it mainly says it is based on a graphic novel. I was hoping that most people knew it was a historical event and didn't need to be told. Maybe I was wrong... - revenge7, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4@tokyopimp
That's nothing. As I walked out of "28 Weeks Later" I saw a 5 year old in front of me. - TridenTBoy, on 10/11/2007, -9/+1I watch zero movies in theaters. I wait for either DVDRips or good boot legs. I watched 300 like only a few days after it came out at home. You should think about it too.
- oktobr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@Stephiems
I'm glad it wasn't marketed as historical fact. Frank Miller took many liberties with the story as it's understood by modern historians. It's intended to be entertaining. - abanana, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2300 was based loosely off of Herodotus' history of the battle of Thermopylae. If you do not know what this battle was about before you saw the movie I suggest you read more, as it is a fantastic story. Herodotus' account actually claims that the Greeks had roughly 4000 troops who took turns fighting, but the Spartans were the bravest and fought to the end while the others retreated when the goat path was exploited by the Persians. Also if you don't read the battle was referenced in The Last Samurai. Frank Miller's account actually isn't too far off in terms of the battle sequences. BTW Herodotus claims that the one Spartan who was sent away was so distraught over not being able to die that he later killed himself. Sucks cause Faramir kicked ass.
- root1657, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Dont worry about it, they actually got the spoiler for 300 WRONG. Near the begining, the king assembles 300 of his personal guard to 'go for a walk'. SPOILER COMMING stop reading if you still care.... One guy lives, so still, 300 die, because there were actually 301 Spartans at the hot gates....
So the shirt already sucks....
- Akaji, on 10/11/2007, -4/+100What, your wife doesn't do all the work for you?
- informality, on 10/11/2007, -5/+68NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

- doctorcaligari, on 10/11/2007, -6/+57Aaaaaagghhh! I hadn't even seen half of these movies! "299 Die"!?!?! I was waiting for the DVD (sobs in corner)...
- Noah0504, on 10/11/2007, -4/+132I think someone just needed a history lesson. It's like trying to spoil the end of The Passion of the Christ...
- bIuebonics, on 10/11/2007, -2/+56dude, the titanic's still sailing... :P
- tizz66, on 10/11/2007, -0/+80So would it really piss you off if I said Leonidas was one of the 299?

- Gunrun, on 10/11/2007, -11/+4Yeah ***** paying for stuff people spent years working on. Everything should be free! Who gives a ***** that it will eventually kill the industry.
- LittLeBunny2o5, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Download Areas. Download movie. Await moment to know 299 Spartans die. When it happens, say, "I knew that'd happen." Under breathe mutter, "Thanks to Digg. Ruin a movie for me." Cry.
- root1657, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2No, actually 300 die. It was the king and 300 of his personal guard, so there were 301 spartans there.... 300 died.
- mick6885, on 10/11/2007, -4/+9wait wait wait. HOO shot JR

http://theaterhopper.com/store/tshirts/spoiler2.php- bewareofmoose, on 10/11/2007, -9/+4Yeah, for once Threadless is the one ripping people off. I'm embarrassed for them; their stuff is usually top-notch.
- blastin311, on 10/11/2007, -6/+4@bewareofmoose
You are a jackass. You should be embarrassed for yourself, just for saying that. Threadless is AWESOME! 'Nuff said. - bewareofmoose, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1@blastin311:
Wow, that was mature. Point of fact is, Brazelton did it first. Recently, Threadless has been ripped off by a site called Goliath (http://www.penny-arcade.com/thdg.jpg). It's a shock to turn around and find them accepting and selling shirt designs that are so blatantly ripped off of someone else's work.
Ad hominem character attacks aside, I'm amused, irritated, but certainly not surprised that you respond to my statement with the kind of drunk eloquence usually reserved for the 'special' member of your average frat house. You know, the one who's only in school because he found out he could get money for running into things? - blastin311, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Ripping off was the case for Goldman because (a lot of) his are blatent rips OF the original idea. This was a different presentation of the idea. There was no need for the jackass comment on my part. I enjoy a game of beerpong once in a while.
- lansuggs, on 10/11/2007, -8/+3Here's a like that's relevant: (SPOILERS)
http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Spoiler - readme, on 10/11/2007, -5/+15The Lost spoiler is not true, unless they know something we don't.

- abox, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14That's not a spoiler for Lost, it's a spoiler for "The Others" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0230600/)
Edit: I see you got it, rendering my post useless :) - Toasterstrudull, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3It's not a lost spoiler... these are all movies
its a spoiler for the movie "The Others"
haha damn i should refresh more often... - alexforcefive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6Dallas is a movie now?
- javageek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince is also not a movie... at least not yet.

this is a spoiler? o_O- mortigon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Phil Hartman spoiled that movie for me.

- mortigon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Phil Hartman spoiled that movie for me.
- pianonotes1010, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11Ruined Donnie Darko for me :-
- mortigon, on 10/11/2007, -2/+39Watch it anyways, you still need to figure out why he dies :)
- PhrosTT, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2I didn't know we were sure he died. What about all the time travel stuff?
Isn't it like, Donnie goes on bikeride, engine misses him when it should have killed him, world gets messed up, Donnie realizes he has to "make it right" and die like he should have. - mortigon, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3SPOILER ALERT:
He died to save the universe before it swallowed itself basically. The second dimension that was opened up after he survived was because of something with the jet engine... I don't know what. He was stuck in that second dimension and had to make sure he things went right and a jet engine landed on him at the right time. Once that jet engine took that crazy turn and started going back to the real world that second dimension was destroyed because things were even between the two times...
If he didn't do that the second dimension would have taken over created a black hole.
I just confused myself, I hope you guys understand what I was trying to say.
This is a crazy ass movie. - j10s, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3^ya, so pretty much, he dies.
(oh and I have this creepy feeling that the hot chick (aka Donnie's gf is going to get raped by the bullies). - comineeyeaha, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2well, you're not missing much. It didn't suck, but people hold it to a much higher standard that it deserves.
- Ayavaron, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6No, Donnie's death has nothing to do with it.
According to the audio commentary, Donnie Darko is a story about divine intervention and some higher power's manipulation of Donnie and those around him. In order to fix the rift in the primary universe, they need Donnie to send the plane engine through the rift. Donnie's death occurs because the divine force abandoned him. Donnie is called by the Gods to do something and then abandoned because ultimately, he insignificant.
Threw in a bit of my own interpretation there. That movie is a pretty weird one.
Plus, if things were supposed to result in Donnie's death, why would the force manipulate him by having Frank take him out of the house on the night of the crash? - kiltederic1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Heck after getting Donnie for chirstmas and watching it 3 time I still don't get this movie.
- abanana, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Donnie Darko = existentialism. I am not well versed in either so i won't give a lengthy explanation but watch the movie then wiki existentialism and it will help a little bit.
- speedk0re, on 10/11/2007, -11/+0OMG you mean Neo is the one!?!?!?! I definitely didn't see that one coming

- NuclearBlast, on 10/11/2007, -15/+1It's too bad it didn't include the recent spoiler that has leaked- that Harry Potter is a Horcrux.
- sokotobe, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I think a lot of people knew that they died (the 300) before going into the movie and still enjoyed it... I knew how the battle ended but I still loved the movie.

before he finds out soylent green is people!! - CaseyThr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3that's the first thing I thought of when I saw this shirt...man I need to get off xkcd more often
- kiltederic1, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Snape is really a woman. Rosebud falls for Snape because he/she can make a great Soylent Green hot dish. He tells Rosebud that it has 299 secret spices.
The villagers are very scared of the wicker man for he kills off their policemen. Keyser Soze kills Donnie Darko because he thinks he is the One, but Neo, who is the split personality of J.R., gives birth to a whiney bitch maned Luke. Tyler Durdan is involved in a love triangle with a dead thearpist and a math nutter.
In the end you find out that none of it happened because it was a dream had by a space man on the Planet of the Others.
- ablez3, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14that snape.
- hdtvdust, on 10/11/2007, -7/+4To answer the question posed in the description...almost NONE. Anyone who hasn't seen any of these movies by now (and hasn't heard the "surprise" ending) pretty much does not CARE about the movie. Aside from 300, all are sufficiently old enough that anyone who wanted to see it would have already.
- negativefx, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2i haven't seen a single one of them, so ***** off
- s3rgi0, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5you'd be surprised.
I've never seen Donnie Darko. I've always wanted to but I never get around to watching it. - Jonjonr6, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0You'd have had to read the Harry Potter Half-Blood Prince to know about Dumbledor. A true spoiler for a movie that's atleast a few years out, if not more.

- KineticShampoo, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Thank jesus I didn't catch the Donnie Darko spoiler. I haven't watched the movie yet, and so I'm told it's really good!
- mortigon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3you'll have to watch it a couple times, then read online stuff about the movie to fully understand it.
and don't look at my post above, it's a spoiler - tizz66, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4I hate it when people spoil (he dies) the ends of films, just after someone said 'don't spoil it'...
- j10s, on 10/11/2007, -5/+7he dies.
you deserved it.
- mortigon, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3you'll have to watch it a couple times, then read online stuff about the movie to fully understand it.
- navtejkohli, on 11/14/2007, -2/+30When "Lost" finally ends, they can make an entire wardrobe explaining that crap to everyone.
- arbulus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Good god man, there's so much to explain it would take like:
4 trucker caps
8 hoodies
15 messenger bags
16 belt buckles
23 long sleeve shirts
42 tshirts
just to cover everything. - Cerebral, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Did you already take into consideration that we have 3 more seasons to go before it is over? If not you'd better add some more items to your list.
- ninth1dr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1don't worry arbulus. . .I got the joke
@cerebral - think about those numbers
- arbulus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Good god man, there's so much to explain it would take like:
- mavrick45, on 10/11/2007, -9/+7299 die?
so that one Spartan lived for eternity?- hdtvdust, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3It is a spoiler for the MOVIE, not life.
- root1657, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The shirt is wrong. The king took 300 of his personal guard out for a walk.... so there were 301 spartans.... 300 died.
- totorototoro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I'm guessing no one else here saw "The Others" either :p
- bIuebonics, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1i did... you can only in a round about way call them the protagonists. the others were just the ones who were alive... not a great movie.
- tizz66, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5You should, I thought it was great.
- pants428, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1yah, I saw it also, and it was pretty good how the story ends up twisting around.. it's pretty entertaining, worth a look.. Plus it has Nicole Kidman in it.
- arbulus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1@bluebonics
Son of a bitch! I was going to watch that tonight.
Thanks a lot.
/sarcasm
- GleepGlop2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6I have to say I'm not a fan of using a t-shirt as kind of a barometer of how clever you think you are but this one is actually unpretentiously funny.
- navtejkohli, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Agreed; nothing says "jackass" like a smarmy tee-shirt. This, however, is well designed and funny.
- beermaker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2I would like to see something of better movies like...
Mark Wahlberg is the only who survive.
better yet, Blondy kills Angel eyes- glc17, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I like that one, although I don't think a lot of people catch the GBU reference
- darkciti, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Whoa!? Mark Walberg is the only one who survives in The Italian Job?
- skidmarx, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1I'm so getting that.
- andburn1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Cheif Tyrol, Tigh, Sam Anders, and Tori are all cylons and Starbuck came back and said she'd been to Earth. And they showed Earth. And played All Along the Watchtower. And it was intense.
- TrojanGuy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17"She does kill Bill."
- psycho79, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3***** you.
- nata2, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10i guess our servers work well.. thanks for the load test ;)
now go buy more shirts! - nailPuppy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Boo, they disabled the digg3prize coupon code.
- RobototoboR, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2No spoilers here. Below poster is a liar.
- DCJoeDogaswell, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Warning: The above text contains spoilers. You've been warned.
- diffusio, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4can anyone else see "the protagonists are the others" coming true for Lost?
As we can see, the losties (protagonists) are becoming very agressive towards the others. maybe the protagonists will turn into the others in the ending season finale and make another plane crash?- BradFive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1That spoiler is for the movie "The Others".
- charlie55, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6they ruined dallas? that sucks for the zero people who will ever watch that show again, as well as the rest of us who vaguely remember that show existed when we were kids.
- smilesofkarli, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2i need this shirt. i don't care if people hate me for it. it would rock.
- hdtvdust, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Why would people hate you for wearing a t-shirt filled with spoilers from movies old enough that anyone who has ANY desire to see them hasn't already?
- osbjmg, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Actually, you do care. That's exactly why you want it - your saying this is proof enough. A T-shirt is definitely about what people think about you when you wear it.
- gbro, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8The little squirrel critter never does get the nut. People laugh at his pain.
- thedeannamarie, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3The shirt is awesome, but what crap: disabling the Digg coupon! You just lost my money...
- CaseyCC, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8One glaring omission for us 80s kids: Maggie shot Mr. Burns.
- filiklepto, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Wow, was that episode really in the 80s? I distinctly remember it coming out in... oh, wait. You probably meant born-in-the-eighties, which would make us old enough to have seen that episode when it first aired and remember the crazy marketing campaign that accompanied it. Whoops, got it. Right. Also, did not mean to make this tl;dr, sorry.
- LittLeBunny2o5, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1There goes 300 for me. Nice. Good job.
- root1657, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The shirt is wrong, 300 die. They were not paying attention. The king took 300 guards, so there were 301 spartans to begin with...
- xenlab, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Seriously? This was based on a historic battle. The ending has been known for centuries.
- Tycho7, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Reminded me of one of my favorite PA comics.
http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2005/12/05 - vagrantwade, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2They could have went in multiple directions for The Village. For example;
"This movie will make you wish you rented Planet of the Apes..." - gbro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5#1: Jason dies.
#2: Jason dies.
#3: Jason dies.
#4: Jason dies.
#5: Jason dies.
#6: Jason dies.
#7: Jason dies.- Jpardue, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4#11 Freddy Dies
- vagrantwade, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Don't forget
"Jason + Nanites = Super Shredder" - blastin311, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4What about a spoiler for "Secret Window"? Oh yeah, the spoiler is Johnny Depp acted in it.
- davidkeithjones, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Wow, I would love a shirt, but my chest is like 15 inches too big XXL my ass!
- JoeDonH, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1- Butch Coolidge kills Vincent Vega While Vincent is reading "Modesty Blaise" on the toilet in Butch's Apartment when Butch goes back to get his father's watch.
- HAL 9000 Kills the entire crew of the Discovery One except for Dave Bowman, who deactivates (in essence killing) HAL.
- Gaear Grimsrud disposes of Carl Showalter in a wood chipper and is caught and shot in the leg by Marge Gunderson while trying to escape.
- Ash Williams is the only one to survive the night in that cabin in Tennessee (or is he?)
- George Hanson, after remarking "This used to be a helluva good country. I can't understand what's gone wrong with it", is killed by a Machete wound to the neck after being attacked in the middle of the night - Wyatt and Billy survive.
- Colonel Robert Neville is betrayed by Lisa, after she becomes a Nocturnal, and is impaled by a spear thrown by Matthias, even though Neville found a cure and had a vial of blood with the vaccine.
Didn't mean to spend time on it, but it's actually very fun typing out plot spoilers. Apologies to those that haven't seen Omega Man :p - Benrussell, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1No apologies necessary. All you did was strengthen my desire to continue not watching it!
- MajorLeague, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Tony Flips. :)
