Talking Hellboy 2 With Del Toro - A B.P.R.D. TV Series?
latinoreview.com — Just a few days ago I was lucky enough to attend the premiere and see the final cut for del Toro's upcoming sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army. I had the chance to speak to del Toro about the film in this Exclusive video interview in which he speaks about the film and how he would love to see a TV show based on B.P.R.D.

- damian7, on 07/08/2008, -2/+6Hellboy 2 looks amazing, a lot people are ruling it out. Why? Because of the first one? del Toro is a genius and is bound to amaze audiences when this movie comes out.
- NovaPrime9, on 07/09/2008, -3/+8What? I loved the first movie. I'm really looking forward to this one.
- rpgmaker, on 07/09/2008, -1/+1The first one was entertaining but not a good movie. This sequel could beat it pretty easily.
- Soup4Brains, on 07/09/2008, -2/+4What, people didn't like the first one? Why the hell not?
- ozid, on 07/09/2008, -5/+2I bet you all shave your sideburns so they look like they are about to turn into a beard but just taper off into a point, too.
because those type of people are the only ones who liked HB1
- NovaPrime9, on 07/09/2008, -3/+8What? I loved the first movie. I'm really looking forward to this one.
- Somedude2137, on 07/09/2008, -7/+2this must be a ***** record for most mrbabyman posts that have reached front page in one single day....... btw, all of them ***** suck... how odd
- solesoul, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Dude, let it go
- smacksaw, on 07/09/2008, -9/+4Bury me if you like, but for as good as the scoops are from "Latino Review", I could really give two ***** what this culo's ethnic background is. I don't care about White Pride Review, Black Power Review, XxzAznPridezxX Review, whatever. What a lame name. A director named Del Toro will talk to you because you're all part of La Raza. Hooray.
- digsuxx, on 07/09/2008, -1/+0gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bro
- whiteghetto, on 07/09/2008, -1/+16wtf is BPRD
- Cuongfu, on 07/09/2008, -1/+11Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development.
- smacksaw, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2Proof that you're not a total kook.
- alexsculptor, on 07/09/2008, -1/+4AWESOME!
- MyDiggIsBig, on 07/09/2008, -9/+4I won't deny that Del Torro is an amazing director. But this movie and the people who go "AWSOME!" are the reason why Hollywood dishes out such crap for audiences. People have proven to Hollywood that they like garbage and aren't capable of handling something more. Pairing a good director with a bad movie has been done many times, and frankly, i think it does more harm than good. It takes away the genius from his lab and puts him in a circus. Show us substance, show us respect hollywood.
- QueEsAmor, on 07/09/2008, -1/+5Del Toro wanted to do the first Hellboy, he wanted to do the second. There was no "pairing" going on. The first Hellboy was a good movie. Just because it's not subtitled or an R rated drama doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed.
- Mononuclear, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7Del Toro has some awesome movies. I loved el Laberinto del Fuano and el Orfanato. His Hellboy movies are completely different but also good.
- Di0genes, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1For the record, Del Toro only produced The Orphanage. It is indeed an awesome movie, though.
- Mononuclear, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Ahh yeah. I thought he wrote it also but I guess he wrote/directed/produced the other ones and only produced The Orphanage. But yeah they are all great movies.
- Di0genes, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1For the record, Del Toro only produced The Orphanage. It is indeed an awesome movie, though.
- zephc, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7A TV spinoff from a movie? Will it star Canadian actors, and take place in NYC but actually be shot in Vancouver?
- Brododium, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3I can wait for Hellboy 2, however I can't wait for the next Day/Night Watch.
- nickfartzone, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3I'm excited that BPRD is being remade. I've been a big fan of breaded pringles ranch dip since middle school, and this remake looks very appealing.
- Braingoo, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1I thought it was a bunch of scientists developing new fuels at the British Petroleum Research and Development.
- Parthymon, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3Already was a BPRD tc show actually, of sorts. Screw-on head. God I wish they'd made more episodes of that.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Screw-On_ ...- cthulhukb, on 07/09/2008, -0/+0The Amazing Screw-on head was unrelated to BPRD in anyway except that Mike Mignola created both. It also wasn't really a "show," although I wish it had been picked up as one.
- MyDiggIsBig, on 07/09/2008, -3/+3yes, it can provide 90 minutes of mindless entertainment, just like cloverfield did. but i prefer movies that i still remember or want to think about when i step out of the theatre. Ones which stick with me, have meaning, provide something new. Hell Boy might be fun for some, but in the end, it is just more dust in the wind.
- digsuxx, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2I guess you've never seen "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 2 - The Indian Is Back And He's Pissed" or "Cape Fear 2 - The Stalkers Alien Rebirth"
- dadioflex, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1Dust in the wind? Like your comment?
Whoosh.... see that? That's your comment tumbling away under the weight of millions of dollars being spent watching Hellboy 2...whoosh... how's that for you? Feeling good?.... whoosh.... - Di0genes, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1If Cloverfield gave you nothing to talk about, I think you might just be uncreative.
- smacksaw, on 07/09/2008, -6/+1Hellboy 2 is going to be one hell of a flop. That is all.
- lazumo, on 07/09/2008, -2/+0Am I the only one that saw "A B.P.R.D." and thought alt.binaries.pictures ... etc, etc..?
- dadioflex, on 07/09/2008, -0/+2I loved the first movie. Since the MPAA turned on consumers I'm REALLY picky about what I buy and it's one of the few movies I've bought on DVD in the last 5 years.
- RykersM3, on 07/10/2008, -0/+0How about a Roger spin off series? Call it "Everyone loves the Humuculous!"
