Watching all six Star Wars movies simultaneously
weirdhat.com — "So all six Star Wars movies are out on DVD now, and I said to myself: I have nothing better to do, and there are so many parallels between these movies as it is, it'd be fun to see how many interesting things line up with each other if I watch all six movies simultaneously."

- Teague, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Interesting stuff. I like seeing all the pans at once after the scrolls in the first clip.
- dolby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This going to the front page. Great digg. :-)
- WeirdHat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's worth mentioning that this isn't finished and wasn't meant to be linked to by anybody until later. But here it is, I'll try to make the best of it.
- Eaglet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah, I didn't realise the page wasn't completely finished when I submitted this. Personally, I think just the opening scroll stuff is cool enough to get a Digg.
I'll keep checking back at the page for sure! - Zabbawack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thats uhh...and, with the...and, then theres the.... Ok WOW!
- RonTarson, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2waaaaay to much free time...
- TheMJ, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1lol I agree with rontarson
- braden.beer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No jokes, way too much free time. I don't know why you'd want to watch them all at the same time... You think the audio would get pretty annoying. Maybe one long Starwars File, that puts all episodes together minus the credits. :)
- laughterkillsme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, each star wars movie ... msot especially the new ones have a definate pattern as far as stuff going on ... action sequence to badly acted dramatic sequence ands o on ... but I don't think that when your stoned it'll be as cool as watching wizard of oz/listening to pink floyd .. lol
- .Steven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Do they all end at the same time?
- grendel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0six monitors / tv's?
- rossr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What happens if you listen to Pink Floyd's "The Wall" at the same time? ;)
- nate263, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1sweet and cool and good and a bit nerdy.
- JuliusErving, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"six monitors / tv's?"
Read the site. - baltakatei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty cool. I'll be waiting for the torrent of this stuff. I think it would be justified since Mr. Lucas wouldn't ever release his baby in this muddled format.
- kkuk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There is a thesis in this somewhere....
- jesusphreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I honestly don't see all that much connection. When you have 6 movies all about the same subject, you are obviously going to get 2 or so of the movies to have a few similarities every few minutes or so.
- elpayo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Dork alert. Having said that I watched Episode III tonight. ROTS is a POS.
- mogdor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Wow. Just when you think you've seen someone with more free time than anybody else, another person comes and tops them. Well, I guess I can see a little entertainment value in watching the movies side by side, buy overlaying all of them together? What does that possibly accomplish? (when you're not stoned or drunk, that is)
- 404notfound, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Uhhhh yeah there's gonna be more stuff, somebody linked to this but it's nowhere near finished. Fatso."
- Pooavenger, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0*****. someone needs a girlfriend..
- TechnoPops, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dugg just for the clip of Anakin and Obi-Wan fighting Dooku to the soundtrack of "Jedi Rocks." Funny stuff.
- 703_KN33, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0sorry, but this guy needs to visit that one place...um, what was it called?....oh yeah, .....OUTDOORS.
- kurrent, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0all 6 at once? sounds good to me. whatever takes the attention away from having to watch eps 1, 2, or 3 by themselves.
- sjvilla79, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0WTF.
- Computer_Kid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I want to watch all six movies in a row when a crapy day comes along (And edit down 1 and 2 to save time)
- mindsinker, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0BORING!
- kymehra, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0GET A JOB!
- sfacets, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Snore!
- Carlsb3rg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I'm afraid I can't see the point of this project, besides time wasting.
- MikeWeller, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I didn't find this remotely interesting. There wasn't a single WOW moment for me. No digg.
- SniperX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Most people don't need this, but I found it tough to keep track of them at first since apparently i'm not the biggest fan, here's a cheatsheet for those that are as slow as me ^_^:
TPM - Episode I The Phantom Menace
AOTC - Episode II Attack of the Clones
ROTS - Episode III Revenge of the Sith
ANH - Episode IV A New Hope ("Star Wars")
ESB - Episode V The Empire Strikes Back
ROTJ - Episode VI Return of the Jedi - febryle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Add The Wizard of Oz to the Mix, man...IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!
Meh. - CrimsonBlood, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i wonder what this will do to his bandwidth EH? like the digg effect should take place soon ? maayyybee
- sxt173, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I agree... too much time on his hands! Plus, uhmmm, why???
- Cheyne, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is kinda stupid, but I do like star wars. Digg
- surreallyinsane, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0uhmm.. so this guy prob spent a whole weekend working on this. why???
- NightShade, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I've done some pretty stupid computer projects in my time.... but this guy has raised the bar to an all time new high. What the hell was the damn point of this project?
- conedude13, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Well if you have nothing better to do, and no girlfriend, and no life what so ever outside of your parents house. What happens if you que it up to dark side of the moon? :P
- 4v4l0n42, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Reeeeally useless.
- Eaglet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, a lot of hate on this thread for a page that (at the time of this writing) 400 people found interesting enough to digg.
- Odwalla, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0A guy who calls himself "Fatso" on his web page has all six Star Wars DVDs and "too much free time".
This isn't news. It's geek status quo. - Eaglet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Odwalla, the guy who runs the site wasn't calling himself a fatso, he was referring to the Digg submitter (er, that would be me).
- |ant|, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I think you should get a job.
- sjvilla79, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0> ....400 people found interesting enough to digg.
It's herd mentality at work. This is why Digg is so cool! Click this because I am! Yeah, push this unfinished Star Wars geek site to the front page! Star Wars and Digg equals popular! Sorry, what's that? I have a choice NOT to Digg ***** crap posts? Wow. - nihilator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I still think Lucas should have stuck with his original title for episode VI as "Revenge of the Jedi".
- TheDeuce, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0ditto, way too much free time. try some volunteer work.
- Ksuji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1why are many people jumping on the bandwagon of if it looks nerdy, lets make fun of him in ways it doesnt relate to what the article is about?
consider the possibility of this being valuable a group of people called "editors"? those people who cut, slice, add titles transitions, audio and fx together at least 10x the amount of the final film length to give you that 1.5 hr, or 3.
fun read, at least from an editor's pov. - geek_xyu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Congratulations. You are officially a huge nerd!
- BentWookie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I bet if you do that with any six movies there will be things that seem to line up. What a huge waste of time!!
